I love both of the tables, they look really cool! Actually I think you didn't need these Lakk tables, you could easily make the tabletops out of MDF board too)
May be the texture on the lack table top is better than the feel of MDF. I might be wrong but that’s my reasoning on why I would rather use the lack top 🙂

I bought three of those tables drilled through the tops and screwed the legs in. Made storage for my closet. Since I didn’t need the last four legs I glued and Brad nailed them onto the bottom in a square to raise it up off the floor. Came out perfect. I love these tables. I’ve got a small house would make a nice coffee table
I love both ideas excellent job but I especially love the idea of them being used as nesting tables I like it better like that it looks like they truly belong together in that way
I love this!!! I've been trying to figure out how to upgrade the Lack TV stand. I have two side by side for my 55" TV and I hate that it's so open! Can you do a hack for that?
I honestly can choose a favorite. The combo to get her is perfection. You are so creative. You do so many awesome DIY projects. As a DIYer Too I would suggest you look into getting a Kreg Jig that creates pocket holes. It just makes life easier. We literally use it on every project. I’m sure you get so many suggestions and advice. I’m SO sorry to give you more unsolicited advice.

I would of just skipped the ikea table hack unless you have one on hand and or just use MDF board for both tables, came out beautifully ❤
