Thanks for the video! Undoubtedly, Mercedes is a beautiful car, but not quite practical, given its 10 cm ground clearance. I was surprised that the noise insulation is not at a premium level. Looking forward to the video with Peugeot 308/508, Mazda CX-5 (2022). I wonder what impressions you will have in comparison with the Mercedes C-class. I'll be sure to remind you in the comments)
You won't believe me, but few days before I rented that Merc I booked the New Peugeot 308 from a rental company from whom I rented like +20 cars.. I called them twice to be sure that the new peugeot will be the car delivered to me.. and lucky as I am, they gave me an old one which I didn't took and they kept the money without refunding me.. so there are companies that don't give a thing about clients, and some other companies that will do everything for you (the Hyundai Tucson and C class - first time with two other companies, I asked them about a specific car, and they gave me that car).
@@POVDRIVE It is very unfortunate that the company so unfairly and completely poorly behaved with you, while brazenly deceiving and not even returning the money. Your activity deserves even more respect, for the sake of creating content you spend your own money to rent a car. I sincerely wish you a speedy change, so that the dealers of car centers themselves turn to you to advertise cars. I also wish that without any difficulties car dealers will provide you with cars for review. I do not know how this process works, but I believe that at least they can give out cars for test drive, which they give out to ordinary potential customers. Sincerely do not understand dealers who do not give out cars because of dissatisfaction with the statistics of the channel, any review will only benefit and additional attention to the car brand, and therefore more customers. Usually other writers start the video by saying which dealership gave away a car for review and give their address, and then move on to the car. Perhaps this is the reason for the rejection?
@@POVDRIVE It is very important that you get the Peugeot 308 in the maximum configuration, namely the hybrid version. I have heard in reviews that there is a noticeable difference in the hybrid version and the non-hybrid version. Tangible difference in noise isolation and dynamics. The car with the 1.2 engine drives better into turns, it is not pulled down from the trajectory and in general, its behavior is felt with excitement. The Peugeot 308 with the 1.2 engine has more noise from the wheels, engine and suspension than the hybrid version. Only the comparison will show whether it is true or not.
@@purpleoushein3291 The car rental company from whom I got the Hyundai Tucson, they also have the New Kia Sportage.. but in manual.. so I guess the version shall be very basic as was the Tucson (I've seen other povs of it on UA-cam where guys had fully equiped once and it looked almost like a completely different car)..
The 5th generation was launched in February 2021 and is still in production without any facelift. This means that cars produced between 2021 and 2024 will have the same design and features, regardless of the model year.
I wouldn't compare this car to a Yaris as it comes to the sound insulation but YES, for a pricey car like that, it's a disgrace!! Definitely a NOT BUY for me. Wish you all the best 🙏🙏🙏
Definitely! Yarises are probably the most reliable cars on earth and very cheap to maintain. With any Merc/Bmw/Audi you should expect heavier bills.. for the insurance and all year maintenence. Smart people choose reliable cars over cars that will make them look good in peoples eyes. Unfortunately, reliability is not everything. Sound insulation in Toyotas is as bad as it can be. My sister bought a brand new 2023 Toyota Highlander petrol hybrid, fully speced (I will film that car asap).. the car is GORGEOUS but the wind noise at any speed is a tragedy. She also has a Yaris III she bought about 10 years ago. The car has over 200k now and drives like brand new! Are you planing on buying a car ?
There is no fake sound mounted in that car as it is the case with the Cupra Formentor ua-cam.com/video/UNpRbF1FxN8/v-deo.html This car has just an awfully bad sound insulation and a very loud diesel engine. That's it!
PS : ALL ACCELERATIONS ARE MADE ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE VIDEO, TO GIVE YOU A BASIC OVERVIEW OF THE CAR'S PERFORMANCE!
Great POV video!
Liked and Subscribed 😉👍

@@POVDRIVE Have the new Kia Sportage already arrived in your city? I'm also looking forward to the video on your behalf 🙂

Can you get a panoramic sunroof installed?
if it was from 2 yeard ago why you changed the title of the video with 2024 c class like if is a different new one just for attratc viewers?

Do you think the difference between that c220d vs the c300d is big?
Hard to say since I never drove a 300.. but the 220d is the most sold engine..
On the video it sounds louder (not best sounding engine) than Yaris!

@@POVDRIVE Already ordered new Yaris as I don’t need anything bigger/better.
Do you think there is anything better in this class?
Nope
The dashboard and interior trim feel a little cheap.
Omg I hate so much that interior
Not a fun either!! What about the new EQS's interior ? @MercBenzKing has an amazing video with it ua-cam.com/video/ZWmHNdE2MW4/v-deo.html
