Your Hexa stats work like your 5th job node trios. If your Hexa Stat 1 is Att/Crit Dmg/Str your Hexa Stat 2 cant have Att as your main stat again, you should shuffle it to Str/Crit Dmg/Att for example.
This is just wrong? You can't use any of the same main or additional stats. Edit: Yeah my bad. I hadn't tested it and misunderstood what they meant on the patch notes. Tested and op is correct.

Every single stat can and must or will be the main stat at some point. You can combine 3 cores (when 3rd hexa stat core comes out) to max out 3 stats . For example, core 1, Att, CD, main stat core 2 CD, Att, main stat and core 3 main stat, att, cd. All 3 stats in this example take turns being main stat with main stat ideally lv 7
The best and most optimal levels you want to get for each hexa stat core is 7,7,6 or 7,8,5. Screw those other fake guides out there that tell you to go for 7, 10,3 or 10 main stat. 7,10,3 only allows you to max 2 stats in 2 cores lv 7 main being the equivalent of lv 10 secondary at half the maximum stat, this might be optimal for now with 2 hexa stat cores but it won't be as more cores are unlocked. Lv 10 main stat is the worst being that its the most inefficient and near unobtainable. Now off to real reason why 7,7,6 or 7,8,5 is the best , by probability the levels of the secondary stats would tend to "equalise" because the lower levels have higher chances so it's easily obtainable as long as you get main stat lv 7 ur all good. Now with 3 cores say main 7 att on core 1, secondary lv 8 att on core 2 and secondary 7 att on 3rd core we max out 100 Att same with the other 2 stats that you want. As long as the secondary stats add up to a minimum of 10 levels it would be equivalent to lv 7 main stat (half of max) and add up to the maximum obtainable stat, this is because unlike main stats the secondary stat scales linearly every single level adds the exact same amount while the main stat is sort of exponential after lv 5. This way using 3 cores you can max out 3 stats easily compared to trying for 3 lv 10 main stats, granted you will have to wait for the 3rd core unlock to get the maximum stats but it's worth it in the long run.

So you’re saying if I happened to have (definitely won’t but hypothetically speaking) my HEXA stats I and II as 10/5/5 and 5/10/5 and I were to have ATT on the 10’s, then it would be capped and once HEXA stat III comes out, I won’t get anymore ATT? Thanks for the detailed info btw. All my guildies and everyone I’ve ran into are aiming for Lv8 main stat. Is that the correct goal to go for?
@@Overdragoon yea it gets capped , lv 8 main stat is fine too as long as the secondaries across 2 other cores add up to lv 7 at least but it's harder to attain than lv 7 main , so I'd say just stick to 7 , 7,6 or 7,8,5 . When the 3rd core comes out you would be able to max all 3 stats. Especially if you lack the fragments ( I wasted 4k frags messing around and trying to figure out how the hexa stat cores work :/ when I finally figured it out, I realised the system was actually designed to be pretty attainable and easy just lv 7 main stat and you're good ) might actually be unlucky to get lv 10 main stat because it starts a precedent where all your cores have to get lv 10 main stat , might sound counterintuitive but that's how it is

main stat in hexa is not affected by stat% but attack in hexa is affected by ATK%
