These POV videos with no designed aesthetically pleasing shots and musical accompaniments are my favourite videos of yours. You get to feel what it might be like, and you get to see just how frigging fast you are going on a wave, how frigging big that wave is, hear the thunder of the wave as it curls and hits the ocean and so on. Not to say your other vids are not good, they are, but these really are my favourite 🙂 WOW!!! Please get better soon 😘

Your POV videos are always my favorite on your channel- I just wish someone could think of a GoPro that doesn’t distort the size of these waves and does these waves justice

A wide angle is necessary to capture first person POV shots. If the lense wasn't distorted to bend the light to allow more visual space captured into the frame, you'd have a crappy zoomed in shot of a tiny portion of the ride. The wide angle actually does a better job at providing the view closer to your eyes peripherals and what Nate is seeing even if the edges are out of focus to him. Your eyes are curved just like that lense, just not as dramatically

    XXL surfer's are( Jeti surfer's.)
It's like the Jedi of jet ski safety crew surfing. I mean this in a good way and all of these guys can serve huge waves without jet ski assistance. But I mean their bodies taking these impacts. Set them apart!!
To me they are the JETI KNIGHTS

Huge fan of the Florence Brothers and watching surfing videos, but....the all-about-me GoPro angle facing backwards is SO boring....totally flattens out the wave face no matter the size wave! BTW, same thing for over-use of drone shots with the "steep" looking down angle...impossible to appreciate the "height" size of waves, the bottom of the wave disappears. Turn your cameras around so "we" can see what you're seeing, and fly drones as low to the water as possible to appreciate size and power!
