Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam (Delugan Meissl), is the third episode for the Fourth Wall Series!
I really love visiting Amsterdam, and this time I got to cross the IJ river and go see this project.

Good filming in the morning light with the fog. I often went there and visited it even when it was not finished. Also I liked the spacious concept during time. The contractor, structural engineers and the local architect influenced the final building. DM was not always consulted and they even refused to attend the opening ! Interesting is to compare it with the earlier completed building of the Porsche museum in Stuttgart.

I read they had some issues during project, yes. I don´t know how big the final difference is, however.

Having just visited eye today, it's really fresh in our minds, and you have a good point about there being too many interior passages, it restricts the natural light quite a bit. Amsterdam have just completed a very beautiful and spare design for the waterfront on the other side of the ij river which you might appreciate, thanks for your great content.

I agree with your comments and love your graphic illustration. The building, of course, is different in scale from MAXXI, by Zaha, but does remind me of that museum and the walkway is more meaningful/powerful in the MAXXI. Thank you for sharing and your efforts. Well appreciated.
