- Today we're celebrating Hannah's first birthday! It's hard to believe it's already been a year since we shared her birth with all of you! After opening gifts, we went to the grocery store to get a few things for Hannah's party. While Hannah napped, I made cupcakes and got everything ready. We had fun playing outside for awhile and realized we had a diaper blow out that got Hannah's new dress all dirty. I washed it and hung it up to dry so she had it back before our guests arrived. We planned a musical birthday since Miss Hannah loves music. We played musical chairs - Mills style. We don't have a lot of individual chairs since we use benches everywhere so we played with dollhouse chairs instead. Then we played a game in which everyone had to play their chosen instrument whenever Hannah played hers. I came up with that game because sometimes when Hannah claps, we all start clapping with her and she loves it. Tom made pizza for everyone for dinner (it's Thursday, after all!) We had our pizza, cupcakes and soda and had fun visiting for the evening.

Hannah’s momma adored her. She managed to capture the eye contact during nursing, the tiny little baby toes, and all the yumminess of a tiny precious one year old. This is a priceless treasure for you all to have. 💕
I love how gentle your children are with one another. They assist in helping / teaching the younger ones. How special!

I was shocked upon her passing.
Those children are so well behaved. I only had four sons. There was noise everywhere. So sad, she won't be there for her children's wedding,when they have children of their own.
Hannah for sure may not remember her. Thank God of her videos. I think Tom will try to follow thru with her routine as much as he can with the help of the older children. I hope with working and trying to manage the household that he doesn't get burnt out or sick. God bless this beautiful family!
Yes I agree with you , I have seen kids on UA-cam that have a whole living room filled with gifts for their birthday and Christmas and they rip them open as fast as possible they don’t even look to see what they are . Let alone who they are from . Too match , but these lovely children they just look and help if anything . So precious all of them.

A belated Happy Birthday to Hannah!!! 🎂 She has grown so much but it doesn't seem like it's been a year since she was born. I love how the kids clap and play instruments when Hannah does and stops when she stops. Can tell she gets a big kick out of it. It is so sweet how the kids were helping her unwrap and try out her presents, especially Thomas.
