Its simple, there's hardly any head movement in the UFC and ilia Topuria is able to exploit that disadvantage. Hes well-rounded and he might rule for a longtime.
It’s not because of head movement, his boxing is good when combined with his ground threat. Just like how Khabib was dangerous on the ground and made his striking so much more deadly. Now, with ilia, he has a legitimate KO power with really good wrestling compared to others in his division and he decided, let me use my KO power and get insanely good at boxing. Because he doesn’t have to worry about getting taken down and not getting back up. And besides Evloev, no one will wrestle with him as they’re not on his level and guess what, standing up, his striking is far ahead of others due to his technique and KO power and to add cherry on top of it all, he has very good cardio. Most have KO power but zero cardio like Conor McGregor. Ilia seems to have power and legit boxing skills, really good ground game compared to anyone else in his division and insane KO power. And not to mention, his very high fight IQ!
@khabibmcgregor5386 the head movement I'm talking about is that of his opponents. Most of them back up with their chin high and exposed especially when they are cornered. If he was fighting other elite boxers in a boxing match he wouldn't be able to knock them out this easy cause boxers know how to move their heads. It's the same reason why MMA fighters get knocked out in boxing matches and Ilia Topuria is a high level boxer. See how they are unable to catch him clean because he is continuously moving his head too.
Holloway and his delusional fanbase ever being convinced that Ilia was scared of Max is actually laughable... Real mma fans knew what was going to happen in this fight... Even if Max would have won in the boxing, Ilia could have easily gotten him to the ground and got off g & p. Most complete featherweight of all time. Not going to lie, he's probably the future goat. Double champ stuff is making the sport flow poorly.
who is joe?
WHAT HAPPENED TO ILIA BEING SCARED HOLLOWANKER FANS 😂😂😂😂
Wtf was bryce yapping😂
I'm a big fan of Ilia but I think he's too small for LW. You could see it against Holloway who has a LW frame.
I really think he'll be outgrappled by Makhachev or Tsarukyan. He should stay in FW where he's virtually unbeatable rather going up.
However, If the UFC throw him some money he can't refuse I can definitely see his O taken away at LW.
He knocked out Herbert at 155 on short notice.
Ilia will eat Islam on breakfast 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
He’s got skills but he’s not as flashy as mcgregor used to be 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Straight up stole my mans thumbnail
Who? I make my thumbnails😂 I take inspiration sometimes but hey lots of people steal mine actually.
It seems like the best time to get into the ufc is young… max did and reached his best years then, so did Connor and Jon jones, now ilia… it seems like getting in younger is the best thing now I know there are examples of others doing great things at an older age but overall and when you look at the best of the best… getting in while you’re young seems to be the best move
Omar norgomedov only

Bryce loses that fight no matter what, his excuses are horse shit. And after what Emmett did to him he should be considering retirement.
Mcgregor 2.0
Nah this is Topuria, the El Matador
