Hey Randy, like I say in the video it is a bit of a compromise between form and function they look a little good and they help a little as well. I debated the rear ones, but I thought it would help with the spraying of other cars behind me on the road or on the trail. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers.
Hey David, I put Sean’s contact info in the description section, if you contact him he will let you know. When I get home tonight,I’ll look for my paperwork, if I still have it, to verify what they are. Cheers
I normally buy the weathertech floor mats when I first get a new vehicle but when I bought my jeep and was researching things for it I came across the rough country floor mats and decided to give them a try and I like them as well as I do the weathertech. Which I do have in my wife's van and like I said I have had them in numerous other vehicles also. I am glad to hear they went to a softer material though. I might have to get the back mat for the jeep from weathertech to check the new material out.
You picked a top-notch by purchasing products from Weathertech. I have used their products for years and never had a single problem. Their fit for each vehicle is just amazing. Enjoy your beautiful JL. Thanks for another review.
We both have Wranglers and love WeatherTech products. This was a very helpful video, Dino. Thank you! We will definitely have to drop by their store because we are struggling to find mudflaps which fit both of the 4xE Sahara’s.
Nice video. Personally I use Tuxmat floor liner which offers better and more area of protection than the weather tech one. Plus Tuxmat is from Canada so I am happy to support a Canadian business.😊
Thanks for sharing. I acquired the Westin side steps inexpensively and slapped them in right away, but am likely going to switch them out to something else. Thanks. Cheers.
I always put mud flaps on my cars, but I never considered putting them on my Jeep due to possibility of ripping them off when navigating trails. Since they are so easy to put on and off I am reconsidering my decision.
It’s just three screws that go into the pre-existing holes where the plastic rivets were. So for 90% of the time they offer the little bit of protection, and when I go on the trails, depending on how bad they are I could just remove them. Thanks for watching. Cheers.
Another great upgrade to your shiny new JLURX ! An issue with many of the mud guards out there being flagged "will not fit your xxxx" was because of the factory rock rails extending a little too far forward. Often, reasons for the "Will not Fit" flag are easy to find a little hack for, without compromising the installation. Wonder what's next for the Green Rubicon X Machine ?

Westin Stainless Steel. I got them used for $300 CDN$. I'm not sure I like how they protect the side of the Jeep from all the sand and stuff thrown up by the tires. A solid step, similar to the one found on the Sahara might protect more. www.westinautomotive.com/product-detail/56-140652/hdx-stainless-drop-nerf-step-bars
@@CheaperJeeperTV thanks, This fall I got a 2019 Sahara, I put 285/70R17. I have stock running boards, researching mud flaps/ side steps for a better look but still protect the doors some. Live in upstate NY, winter is coming lol
@@jakeboss1915 You're welcome. Yeah it's tough finding something to give the protection you want and also look half good. Let me know what you end up going with, as I'm not 100% on my choice as it is. Good luck in your search. Cheers.

I never thought I would like the look of mud flaps on my JL but they look great on yours. I'm sure they work well too. Good video, Dino!

I ordered the RockStopperz. I had to be careful though, almost ordered the ones for the JL.
Hey Jeepinwithjulia,
I should have warned people to watch out for that.
Enjoy.

Great video. What part number did you order? They don’t list them for the X-Treme Recon package or 392 with it. Thanks
