Morris Minors from new were equipped with single SU carburettors, usually 1 1/4". MG, Austin, Triumph and some other marques utilized a dual system such as yours, but usually twin SU's, not Stromberg/Zeniths. Twin carbs were a common way to squeeze out some extra horses back in the day, sometimes sacrificing the longevity of the engine in the process (too much fuel). Glad you got things rolling, it takes a lot of tuning to balance twin carbs. Good luck!
