THE WIDOW MAKER - FESTE KOENIGSMAKER - PATTONS NIGHTMARE

On of histories forgotten places, and bloody battlefields is Fort Koenigsmaker in France, It stopped Patton's advance and hundreds of Germans and American GIs died here on these bloody grounds.
But there is more, this was the most advanced fort the Prussians constructed, with ALL the best and newest advances at the time, and there is more.
This is a place vast and deep underground, full of craters and battle damage, and the scars are still there. After the war it was simply abandoned by all, never cleaned or cleared.
it was a special journey for me to visit this place, there is something special here, something that still keep calling me and I will be back to find out what it is, but here is what I found to start with
