I translated the first 5 minutes here!! (I tried my best... please let me know if there is anything wrong with the translations! I'll update the rest ASAP~)
TITLE: Jing Shi couple interview The intimate scene Aaron find most memorable is with…(surprised emojis)
    ~preview section~
Hank: The attractive point of this show is… everyone in this BL is very good-looking…
    Aaron: (can’t believe his ears)
    Hank: What?
    ~Jing Shi CP exclusive interview~
Q1: Please describe to the audience your characters in the show
    Hank: (after you~)
Aaron: In Be Loved In House: I Do, I play the character Jing Yu Zhen. He is the Art director of the metalwork studio. He is very overbearing by setting an inhumane code of conduct, but all of these have a reason… and… as for what the reason is, you will find out in the show!
(~in the yellow note on screen~
    Name: Jing Yu Zhen
    Job title: Art Director
    Personality: overbearing)
Hank: Okay… in Be Loved In House: I Do, I play Shi Lei. He is very outgoing and… if sees people around him are treated unfairly, he will stand up for them at the forefront.
Aaron: being brave for the righteousness
Hank: Yes, brave for the righteousness
Aaron: draw his sword to help (a saying in Mandarin meaning “stand up against injustice”)
Hank: recently, I was pondering about if he was an anime character, he would be most similar to Uzumaki Naruto
    Aaron: (Gasp) Oh, yes, yes…
Hank: Because… I would draw my sword to help, but sometimes I make a fool of myself…
(on the screen: “draw his sword to help”, “easily embarrasses himself”)
Aaron: Also… stood up for others too much, sometimes hurts himself
    Hank: yes!
Hank: I hope people get this metaphor we are talking about, if not… go watch “Naruto”
Aaron: that’s okay, just cut this part out
    Everyone: cut it, cut it…
Q2: Describe the difference between yourselves and the characters you play?
Aaron: the difference between him and me is that he is very overbearing and nonsensical, and… very principled. His principles are also very unreasonable. These characteristics are completely … we are two opposite poles. This is the difference between us.
Hank: And for me… although sometimes, in real life, I do stand up against the injustice, but Shi Lei… he amplifies this characteristic a little bit more. His emotions are around two times amplified, comparing to mine. I am a person who wants no fight with the world, like… it’s okay… all is fine…
(on the screen black words beside Aaron: silent refute
on the screen yellow words beside Hank: wants no fight with the world)
Hank: (laughs) all is fine… all is fine…
Hank: so that is the difference between us. His personality has similar aspects to mine, but overall amplified by 2 times.
Hank: I saw his hand do this… (saying “no” by moving his forefinger left and right), I think I right…right? I think I’m right (laughs)
Q3: Describe the similarities between yourselves and the characters you play
Aaron: Yu Zhen… is similar to me in one characteristic: perseverance. He is very persistent on something… this I think is quite similar to a part of me… AND! Yu Zhen had a major thing that happened to him that is exactly the same as what happened to me.
    Hank: Oh…?
    Aaron: No spoilers…
    Hank: No spoilers
    Aaron: yes, that’s right.
Hank: similarity to me is that… at home when I finish showering, I only wear my underwear.
    Aaron: even in the winter?
Hank: in the winter… basically yes. Same as Shi Lei, in the show, there are a lot of scenes when I finish showering, and I only had a towel around my waist, and I walk out without clothes on
    Aaron: yes.
Hank: our daily habits are quite similar.
Q4: What did you do to prepare yourselves for the role?
Aaron: I took metalwork classes. After all, I am the Art director of the metalwork studio, at the least, I should know how to do things, and… what are the processes, and… what are some of the tools. This way, at least during filming, I wouldn’t be unfamiliar. Also, because of that, I made a ring for Jing Yu Zhen, as a token.
    Hank: Oh? For real?
    Aaron: Yeah, I made one.
    Hank: before we start filming?
Aaron: yeah, and inside the ring, I engraved a word for him… it’s his values… his viewpoint on things… this person’s core values.
Hank: yes, and for me… I also took metalwork classes, but I didn’t make a ring or anything, but to understand the production processes of metalwork or how to operate the equipment and their names, and then… work-outs, because I found out… because playing a couple with Aaron… you know, that is some pressure. Yeah, so I work my abs.
Aaron: right? I was thinking why you didn’t choose abs (over pectorals), you should choose abs because you work hard…
Hank: but, look… right now can you tell if I have abs now?
Aaron: I can’t tell right now.
    Hank: you can’t tell, right?
Aaron: you can easily tell between trained/ untrained pectorals (sorry everyone if this doesn’t make sense, I don’t work out XD)
Hank: right! You can easily tell apart
Aaron: Oh… you are coming from the viewpoint of wearing clothes…
    Hank: yes!
    Aaron: okay.
PD: so Hank, when you were filming this show, was your body figure what you care about the most?
Hank: body figure… yes! Because… I don’t know why, but I think I was the person who undresses the most in the series… right? I’m counting…
    Aaron: probably…
Hank: if not the most, the second-most
    Aaron: yeah
Hank: So I figured… okay, I think I need to work harder
Aaron: Yeah, because if not the most (pointing at Hank)… the second most (Pointing at himself). If not the most (pointing at himself)… the second most (Pointing at Hank)… Who else would be undressing?
Hank: there’s nobody else! there’s nobody else!

    • @林毅瀚
      @林毅瀚 3 роки тому +2

      Q5~Q7 here!!
Q5: What is the aspect that Aaron cares the most about while filming the series?
Aaron: I care the most about the wholesomeness of the character, of how to portray the character… therefore, I try my best to prepare for the character and clarify details of this character… do the most to enrich him
      Q6: the most memorable scene?
Aaron: Oh, there must be lots for you!
Hank: to my memory, there is quite a lot. First of all, there is a scene at the end where we were more intimate. Because I’ve never done kiss scenes, never done scenes that are more intimate (pink words beside Hank: a blank piece of paper)
, so at that time, I totally was… basically, even now I try to recall what happened, basically, my mind is still blank. I cannot remember what happened at the time. I actually asked Aaron: uh… so what type of mood should I use for the next scene.
Aaron: “huh? What did the director say?”
Hank: yeah, and “what did the director say?...so okay…, now?...are we doing that again?...okay.” And I was there, breathing in, breathing out, breathing in, and breathing out. And when the director said “Cut!”, I try to recall what happened, I didn’t know what I did.
      Aaron: he forgot again…
Hank: I forgot all of it.
Hank: Yes, so this is one of the more memorable scenes. Also, I have a few. The next one is the crying scene with sis Tsai-Hua. The relationship/connection is very, very, very deep. I always thought acting tearing up is a big challenge for me, because it is hard to hit the point for me to cry… it’s hard to make me cry, but luckily, that day, it went pretty well, I cried unexpectedly well. So, these two scenes are the more memorable for me.
Aaron: For me… it is also a scene that is more intense, but not with you! (both cracked up laughing) Should I feel a bit sorry to say that?
Hank: No, it's alright~ I am used to this:(
(white words beside Hank: Hank feels bitter/hurt, but Hank will not tell)
Aaron: It’s an intense scene, but I did that scene with another… another character. Very, very intense, strong, with a few violent elements in there, in that scene, I was at the edge of breaking down, that is a feeling that I never had experienced before, therefore, it is very, very memorable to me. After I did the scene, I blanked out, I feel very tired and want to get sleep. Yeah, that scene, extremely memorable.
(little pink talk bubble at the bottom: stay tuned!)
Q7: talk about how you feel to work with Wang Tsai-Hua (sis Tsai-Hua)?
Hank: I think it went very smoothly. Basically, because sis Tsai-Hua came on set for only 3 days. And I think from the first scene on the first day, I think we got into the mood very fast, basically, we got along instantly. She really made me feel, in the series, she is really my mom. It is due to this, the acting can be very natural and comfortable… and the crying scene and other scenes later are able to be very smooth… and… the comedy parts are also very smooth, yes.
PD: Did sis Tsai-Hua improvise (not follow the script, create her own lines…etc.) sometimes?
Hank: improvise… She did a few scenes improvising to a point where everyone broke into laughter. But the director said, “sis Tsai-Hua, this is too funny, tune back a little bit to the normal.” But I love things that are very very funny… so, maybe they won’t make it to the final version, but maybe they’ll be in the BTS videos.
Aaron: probably BTS, probably BTS, they’re very funny.
Hank: yes, because really, sis Tsai-Hua's improvisation… I laughed from start to end

Hi, I'm back with the rest of the translation!!! enjoy~
Q8: What were your first impressions of each other? Did it change after working together?
Hank: First impression… should be at the practice room of SanLi television station, like everyone was… what are you laughing about? I am so serious, answering the question… I am so serious
      Aaron: okay.. okay
Hank: I was saying… it should be in the practice room, everyone… it’s like
      Aaron: in groups
Hank: yes, for example, there were maybe two candidates for the role of Jing Yu Zhen… stop laughing! There were two candidates, and for Shi Lei, there were a few candidates, and the actors have to pair up and try acting together. And at that time, my first memorable impression of him… what was it? It was…the coach wanted us to improvise and we were to imagine there is a piece of hair on the other person’s body and we were to take it off of them. Yeah, what I remember of him is just that, there wasn’t a particular…particular…
Aaron: in fact, what he just said, I’ll summarise for him, he has no memory of me
      Hank: I have! I have!
      Aaron: No memory
Hank: Ah! Yes! I know! There was one… so we were practicing, and we were to act out an intimate scene, so we need to be close. That time, you put your face close to my neck.
      Aaron: really?
Hank: yeah! And I got scratched by his stubble
Aaron: stubble? I shaved very thoroughly…
Hank: But I still got scratched…
      Aaron: really?
Hank: maybe they grew out in the afternoon… if you really want to talk about something memorable; it is that day, that day.
      Aaron: and after the collaboration…?
Hank: after collaborating… I find out he is a very attentive person, basically, very different from his appearance, I originally thought he would be... like, because he is very muscular, he would be very… very… careless of things in life. Like… “okay! This scene is fine as it is!” but I’ve never thought he is such an attentive person, every aspect and every move he wants them to be the best. Yes! That’s it.
Hank: you’re laughing so happily… I’m going to listen carefully to what you’re going to say
Aaron: my first impression of him, is… a little boy who is a little bit shy
      Hank: bashful…
Aaron: yes! A child who is a little bit bashful, a little bit shy… after collaborating, he is a…
      Hank: fire away!
Aaron: a little brat. He really is a little brat, you know? He… oh my gosh~
Hank: wait! That “Oh” is like you can’t stand me?
Aaron: no, no, no… he is a very naughty child, and… if he has an idea, he’ll go for it immediately or say it out loud, and he brought a lot of joy to the set…yeah, so… he is very much like a child, a very, very playful person
(pink words in front of Hank: the life of the party)
Q9: Any special preparations before shooting a kiss scene or intimate scene?
Hank: I don’t think we have!
      Aaron: I didn’t prepare anything…
      Hank: No, right?
Aaron: I didn’t do any preparation
Hank: We… at most… I think for the first kiss scene we chewed gum, but for later scenes, we didn’t do anything
Aaron: Yes, that’s right. For the more intimate scenes… I only thought of a few positions or moves before we start shooting
      Hank: right
Aaron: right… and the rest I rely on the instincts and act on the spot… creating something… while his mind, is always a blank
Hank: blank, so it’s not like I can do any preparation
Aaron: yes, whatever I tell him, he’ll be like “okay.”
Hank: and then I’ll be like “what should I do? What should I do?…”
Aaron: “what did the director say?” and then I’ll tell him, “the director said the 3rd beat should be like this, and the 4th should be like that… and the 6th should be like that…” “Oh, okay.”
Hank: and breathe heavily while I talk
Aaron: his ears were all red… yes, he was very obedient
      Hank: nervous…
Aaron: nervous and obedient, at the time
PD: only obedient at the time?
Aaron: yes, only for that scene
      Hank: only then…
Aaron: no need to doubt that
      Hank: no need to doubt…
Q10: Name three things you like the most about each other during this collaboration
Hank: first of all, your body shape, I think you kept yourself in shape and that is a… a goal for me.
Aaron: what? That is so superficial!
Hank: No, No it’s not! Listen, when we start filming… wait, no, because we are naming 3 things… there are three things… don’t worry
Aaron: so we’re starting from the superficial one to the deepest one
Hank: yes, from superficial to deep
Hank: whatever, the first one is your body management, you maintained very well, because appearance is also a very important part, right? And then, it’s what I’ve mentioned before, you took care of every detail, like, maybe sometimes I didn’t pay attention to very small details, but you emphasize the details. The third is that the emotions you express in the scenes, you have thoroughly thought over, like, each cut, like what the director said, each cut you make the emotions the same, also the transition actions, you try to make them consistent. Right, like me, I’m more like… maybe less consistent, I lean more towards my feelings, but I think you controlled yours at the same level, yes.
      Aaron: I like… your… smile
      Hank: that superficial?
      Aaron: we are both…
Hank: you are also going to start with the superficial one then go deep?
      Aaron: yes…
      Hank: okay.
Aaron: and I like your straightforwardness. You wouldn’t hide your feelings, just straight up express them. And the third…
(pink words beside Hank: keeps grinning)
Aaron: I actually… to some point, like your goofiness… you’re quite goofy, for real, you really are quite goofy. Yes, and sometimes you make fun of yourself to entertain others, so… not being hard to talk to…that is what I see in you
Hank: not being valuable? (*pun: valuable and hard to talk to sounds similar in Mandarin)
Aaron: not “valuable”, I said “hard to talk to”
Hank: Oh… hard to talk to. I heard “you are not very valuable… that is what I see in you”
PD: do you want to calm down a bit? Both of you…
Hank: May I borrow the paper fan?
Aaron: look! his ears are red again
Hank: I’ll need a fan, I'm feeling warmed up
Aaron: after the intimate scene, his ear would be this red… maybe twice as red as this
Hank: yes... my ears get red easily
Aaron: his ears are so red… yes.
      Hank: yes, basically that.
Q11: What is the selling point of this show? Advertise the show to the audience
Hank: The attractive point of this show is… everyone in this BL is very good-looking…
      Aaron: (can’t believe his ears)
Hank: What? We can talk about it
Aaron: I like him being this goofy. I think the selling point of Be Loved In House: I Do is that it is a romantic comedy, but the depth of the script and story are very rich, each scene is very, very important, and each actor is working very hard to complete the scenes. The birth of this series is really the because of the great effort of all the people on set, so I believe it is going to be amazing. I hope you can show some support to this series.
Hank: It going to be a thumbs-up series.

With only 2 more eps to go I so hope there will be a S2. Although each ep is brought together perfect, hope there will more to this story.
PD: so Hank, when you are filming this show, is your body figure what you care about the most?
Hank: body figure… yes! Because… I don’t know why, but I think I’m the person who undresses the most in the series… right? I’m counting…
      Aaron: probably…
Hank: if not the most, the second-most
      Aaron: yeah
Hank: So I figured… okay, I think I need to work harder
Aaron: Yeah, because if not the most (pointing at Hank)… the second most (Pointing at himself). If not the most (pointing at himself)… the second most (Pointing at Hank)… Who else would be undressing?
Hank: there’s nobody else! there’s nobody else!
