Indiferent că agreați stilul muzical sau nu, performanțele lui nu pot trece neapreciate pe lângă cei ce au totuși sufletul și mintea deschise. Teoretic , este un stil neoclasic, practic este stilul Dimash, întrucât regula de bază, în proporție de 99%, este "tot timpul altceva"', indiferent că este un cântec vechi sau nou. Degeaba asculți tot portofoliul lui de peste 150 melodii, mai sunt încă 150*20 de variante, care de care mai frumoase. Pe toate gusturile, pentru toate momentele personale, etc. Distracție plăcută în continuare cu Dimash, ieșirea de sub orice rocă face bine spiritului! O reacție plăcută ce a surprins esențialul: uimirea că așa ceva există printre noi.
Thank you for the reaction. FYI - The pianist is Igor Krutoy. He is a famous Ukrainian/Russian composer and producer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. He composed this song as well as "Olympico", "Your Love", "Ave Maria", "I Miss You" specifically for Dimash to take advantage of his range. Igor has also adapted other songs from his catalog for Dimash. If you see Igor at the piano, he wrote it.

He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Qobyz for that.
The Qobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. In the end of Stranger he introduced him to the audience and he thanked them.
As a Kazakh he speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable.
Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. So yes, he may be impressed but he also knows exactly what Dimash is capable of😉
Please react to Olimpico or also Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

After hearing Dimash sing, Krutoy chose to come out of retirement specifically to collaborate with him. You would be surprised about how much his tickets are.. Dimash is a very humble and loving man.. when he came to New York his tickets ranged from 125$ for floor tickets to I think 65$ at the Barkley center and it sold out in like 45 seconds( don't quote me on that but I know it sold out in less than a hour) so really not as expensive as you would think.. tha ks guys for another wonderful reaction! I don't how fast his concert tickets sell out, but his ID album went platinum in 37 seconds and triple-platinum in the first hour.
His concert ticket sales are handled through his production company. He remains fiercely independent.

I am about 30 rows from the stage for the Budapest show, cost 200.00 and worth every penny and more. As soon as he announces 2025 dates, I plan to go see him again.

8:30 his solo concerts are over 3 hour long but tickets are not that expensive if you can fill whole stadium arena with thousands of people
Hey Guys I am a Rock fan from the 70's then Disco and been listening to Dimash now for 8 years all you need to know is Dimash= Vocal genius . Even Wikipedia has a hard time keeping up with all his accolades. Keep going so much more to see and hear from this vocal musician talent at the ripe old age of 29 :)

New Wave was a regular singer competition and coaching even in Russia. Igor played a significant role in support of the event. Singers come from other countries and there are concerts during the event at which Dimash has sung many times. They love him there. He has presented new songs there. There were 3 songs Dimash sang in this 2021 event - Ave Maria, Fly Away, Stranger. Since the war in Ukraine, the concert I have not seen the event running.

I think I've watched it at least 50 times already. I am so excited to be going to the Budapest concert, bucket list number one. I am also taking a tour of Normandy to see the D-Day battlefields and Cemetaries, bucket list number two. I am also going to Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Paris, London.
You ask us for songs that stood out for us - there isn’t the space here lol. Every song he sings is different, opera, rock, folk, pop, blues……. Most people recommend Olympico from Igor’s own channel or Sinful Passion. But one of my favourites is Ikenaide from the Tokyo jazz festival. You can’t go wrong really. His Kazakh folk songs are amazing. Samaltau, Duduraz, Kieli Meken, Quarin elim. Daidedau. Who knew I’d be into Kazakh folk songs?

Dimash plays sports and swims to help with his stamina.😄 He holds that note in every concert and sings for 2 and a half hours.
Pricing depends on the area. He has been in NY and will return to the US in no time. His 2 newest songs, "When I've Got You" and "Smoke" are more geared toward a western audience. They should be on American radio.

Dimash is about to have a concert in Budapest. The last time he was in the USA for a concert was 2019 before the pandemic shut things down. It was in NYC, and it was sold out in hours. There is no word when he plans to return to the USA. He should do Vegas at the Sphere!

He had a concert in NYC. He is spending time in LA and traveling in between concerts and events. There is a new MV coming called SMOKE the teaser is available it took place in the US with US artists. Is like gang related. A US well known producer Walter Afanasieff composer of the Titanic theme when he heard Dimash went to Kazakhstan to work together but had to do it in English and pop what sells today in US music industry He and Afanasieff are good friends they have been working on one song for a while. Dimash refused the contract it would be like cutting the wings of a bird. How can he give up all he does. We fell in love with his original style. At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound.
Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"
Reminds me also to the Old Testament; Exodus 2:22 Moses, “And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gershom [that is, A stranger there]; for he said, “I have been a stranger in a strange land.”
Actually the lyrics are very spiritual, describing a spiritual awakening journey, where a person sees again the past lifetimes, his old faces and loves, and he needs great strength and courage to face everything and rise in consciousness, meeting the New Earth, which is a metaphor for the new consciousness... In ”El Amor En Ti” he is doing the same thing, clearing the darkness, reaching the Light... Dimash is a spiritual man, extremely gifted by God. He deserves the best in this world...🙏🧡💛💚💜💖

This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys, Qobyz or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.
The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the mother (prototype) of all European string instruments.

the piano player (Igor Krutoy) actually wrote the song. He's a famous Russian composer who had retired and he came out of retirement to compose for only Dimash. He writes songs that are for Dimash's vocal range. Dimash did have a concert in New York a few years ago, that was sold out (all of his concerts are sold out). There's a few "metal" reactors that actually love Dimash and one of them went to see one of his concerts in Europe last year. Keep up the Dimash reactions and you'll be hooked like all of us. Thanks

Цены на билеты очень широкого диапазона. На сольный концерт в Алмате билет мне обошёлся примерно 35 $. В этом году на сольный концерт ( Стамбул, 24.05.2024) от 30$ до 1500$)
Dimash will always surprise you. I’ve been watching him since 2017. He never ceases to amaze me.
Wish you would have known about him in 2019 when he did a sold out concert at the Barclays in New York. Flew there the day of the concert and back out very early the next morning due to time restraints. Worth it. When he does an actual concert people from all over the world fly in regardless of the location.

Dimash does a lot for charity so I imagine it wouldn't be as much as you think to go and see him. he is a humanitarian and writes most of his own stuff. Just follow his other stuff, you won't be disappointed.

Welcome to the World of Dimash, the best singer of many generations, past, present and probably many generations into the future. His vocal range of 7+ octaves is so impressive because in every octave his voice is very strong and beautiful. I want to reccomend some performances for you. I don't know how to find that long string of letters and numbers that take you right to the correct video so I'll try to be exact in my descriptions. ADAGIO in SINGER COMPETITION 2017 Episode 6. When Dimash came to New-York he had the promoter reduce the price of the tickets because he claimed they were not fair.....As your journey inside his world begings you will see what a magnificent human being he is,not only multitalented but a kind,loveable and caring soul....To get a better picture of what makes him tick listen to the masterpiece THE STORY OF ONE SKYE....It took him three years to make it and it really reveals what Dimash is all about..
