The demographics chart she used is from a few years ago and was done, as I recall, in the UK. ARMY has attempted to do demographic surveys ourselves, but noticed that demographics really vary by platform -- Twitter is a mix of ages, Tiktok skews younger, and Facebook ARMY (where I started) tend to be older. What I have noticed at concerts is how incredibly diverse the crowds are, with all ages and races. Yes, there are lots of women in their 20s and 30s, but I feel that 40+ has also grown since the pandemic. (Who do you think is buying up Palisades and full body massage chairs? Mature folks with disposable income.) I think the only ones who might really know the current demographics are Weverse based on merch sales information. I just know I'm 62 with a group.of real life friends in their 50s and 60s, and we're all fans. I also feel like fewer teen girls are interested currently becuase the guys are getting a little old for that demographic now that they are in their 30s. My students like TXT, Ateez and Enhyphen, so a few yearsyounger on average. Although there must still be some teen fans since I see DILF thrown around a lot. 😅 I say, check your own channel stats. That will give you an idea of who at least YT ARMY are.
Exactly. There's so many variables and majority of the demographics have been gathered by army volunteers in varying platforms like you've said. We've had so many new fans join in these last 2 years too. It's really hard to get an accurate reading. We've also had an increase in our male fans overall, you can even see examples of that at BTS concerts in person like when V called for male army at the Permission to Dance concert to make some noise it was so loud that day lol. Also I personally saw it at Suga's D-Day concert in Chicago, many male fans were there. There was a husband and wife in their 50's in the row in front of me both army and they said they had seen BTS in 2019 there too. I told them I really wish I had been there cuz even BTS still talk about that concert in Chicago when it rained a little and they had a blast on stage.
The majority of the fanbase is 20s and 30s. You can see that at their concerts. They are more active. However, there are also teens and senior ARMY. Remember, this is the biggest fandom globally. Also, there are many male fans.
65 year old ARMY since 2018. I had major heart surgery in 2018. When I was going through recovery, I saw a dance practice BTS did. I was amazed. I thought if they can practice that long, then I can surely workout for 10 minutes. BTS is very inspiring indeed. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I am 46, and my 20 year old daughter was the one who introduced me to BTS when she was in middle school. Both my aunt and mother (75 & 78) are also very big fans of the group. They have stayed up all night with us to watch their online concert. ARMYs come in all ages.
A more detailed guide is “The most beautiful moment in life: A story of BTS”. It explains how the members were chosen and the albums they have released. It is very very complete.
I like this guide because it is focused more on their rise through the charts and how they grew musically rather than a personality video, so it is a different perspective on their rise to fame.
Bora city mag is ARMY's Queen she's really knows here stuff and knows how to present it. She comes with facts and when she give's an opinion she explains reasons citing evidence to support her opinions.
I agree. This is a good documentary to watch. But please watch a BTS performance video first. Then another doc. There should be 2 categories. Not just one with the top number in my humble opinion.
It’s true that a big part of the fandom are people in their twenties and thirties, however, the fans in their forties and up are significantly large as well. I’m 64 years old and there are many grandmas and grandpas within the fandom. I love Boracity magazine episodes, she is so intelligent and does research on her topics. Thanks for watching this video.
Isn't it amazing that none of them are jerks! They are ALL nice guys who genuinely care for each other and appreciate their fans. I can understand how people may be hesitant to listen to them, but when they don't even give them a chance, it is a shame what they are missing. I LOVE music, but BTS has been a different experience. They make me happy. I have become a rap fan, which I never dreamt I would. I LOVE the rapping! Now, if they can make me enjoy country music, that will be a miracle!😂
BTS are for everybody any age and gender. They really are a once in a lifetime artist. I really liked this guide it’s more recent which is very helpful. Great reaction.
BTS is a unicorn. I don't think when Big Hit selected these 7 teens to form the group BTS, they knew the boys were gonna be huge or be so versatile musically. Even RM and SUGA said they just wanted to perform, to have many people listen to their music. I bet the guys themselves never thought that they would be so lucky to have teammates who are kind, friendly, well-mannered, well-disciplined, who are willing to work hard to improve themselves without being asked and gifted musically. BTS members are lucky to be signed by a Label which gives them the freedom to be creative and treat them well as artists, while Big Hit (which was struggling financially) is lucky to have found 7 super talented artists/performers. They were destined for each other 😊.
You are so right! BTS fans are mostly their age. UA-cam audiences are much older. That explains the comments 😉 SUGA is the main producer *within the members*. He is not the group's main producer. That would be PDogg, who is the only credited producer on every single one of BTS title track singles. The members do A LOT of helping and are asked for input. But PDogg is called "The 8th member" by the group for a reason.
@@eileencritchley4630 Suga is involved in producing for BTS a lot, he is used to produce all his solo music (he collaborated with El Capitxn and others sometimes), and also produced for other artists. Other BTS members also produced music for the group and their solo music. All of them write, but the rappers do it the most (they always write their verses, except the full english songs, cause 2 of them are not fluent). But you're right P Dogg is a great producer that has been with them since they started and he'd credited in about 50% of their songs I would say, not all. They also have other people in the company that help with writing, they don't do it themselves 100% in every song, but are involved in all of their music.
We have such dedicated Army creating content, so glad to see you watching it. You asked about the age of the fanbase, I think it is hard to calculate, as some base it on concert attendance, which will be a younger audience (I have hesitated to even attempt to get tickets, don't want to be oldest one there). Facebook has a huge older audience, Instagram has younger, I don't think Weverse has ever released age range of registered Army members. BTS themselves have commented that fans are aging with them, and more older fans in the audience. Suga was pleased that parents came with younger fans to his solo concert with serious faces, and left giving him thumbs up, which he liked. Their official merchandise is starting to reflect an older fanbase, last year there was very tasteful pottery items with simple logo that was snapped up in minutes. Anyway, Thanks for your reaction, this is a great way to learn more about the different musical interests of each member and why each release is so anticipated - we never know what we will get.
Bts is not afraid to learn, the are learning from the others members. Suga said that he learned from the other members, his members is his best motivation
I like both guides very much. They both serve different purposes. There are many people who would never bother to watch one of the longer guides, so this one is a good snapshot of the group & answers some of the assumptions people make about BTS. But I love Taylor's guide too & for those willing to watch it, they come away with a great appreciation of their talent & integrity. Both guides are valuable & I appreciate the effort put into them. 💜
I became ARMY during the pandemic at age 51. I decided to retire instead of continuing in the workforce and spent a lot of my time going down the rabbit hole. I learn something new every day about the members through their music, variety shows, their live streams and interviews.I never enjoyed listening to rap before, but they opened up my eyes and introduced me to the culture and other artists through their collaborations. It's pretty wild that Korean men taught me about rap culture! Also, the ARMY community has been amazing!BTS is so much more than just music. They inspire others to do better, care about others in our community and around the 🌎, and value ourselves. They really are a special group of men!💫💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💫
Hello👋🏽 51 Years Young ARMY here and I’m proudly proclaiming that BTS IS DIFFERENT…. I could say so much but I don’t want to ramble like an ‘old person’ lbvvs😂 I will say that the song ‘Paradise’ literally gave me the will to live after having an aneurysm and stroke so please check it out and the song that caught your attention and you said it might be a bop is actually solo work from ‘V’ (check out his tiny desk) as for this guide it’s definitely a great crash course and I support both guides for being informative and interesting 💕💖💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💖💕
@ I Fully Purple You💜 😂I try so hard not to come off as a fanatic but trust me when I say I could talk about and listen to BTS for hours on end😂 This is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE 🫶🏽
I’m a 49 year old ARMY from Sweden 💜. I don’t think they’re wrong with the demographics but even if the numbers are smaller higher up in the chart, ARMY is so incredibly big that it still counts for millions up there too.
loved the reaction so much and 100% recommend doing more of boracity videos shes so informative and will help you have a easier time navigating this fandom. i think those who said to do more music first was possible 2 reasons 1 song spoilers and 2 not every army knows boracity so some are unfamiliar with her videos or just want you to see their favorite songs quicker lol just like bts a fandom like this hasnt really existed before because we reject the hysterical fangirl crazy stereotype even tho there are some who do behave that way sometimes. and when we talk about age we dont mean 100% theres no other ages of fans besides what we said. we means generally. of course theres kids and teens and older adults who are fans and in large numbers but thats because the overall fandom is so huge you cant really put a number on it. were also in a turning point where bts are gaining respect in the western/global industry so many fans who maybe were hiding they were fans due to being judged as "creepy" for being too old or fans who are school aged and dont want to get bullied for it are starting to appear more and more as bts are being accepted. when i became a fan in 2018 bts were laughed at still even though they had broken the door in 2017 making it easier for not just korean but asian artists in general to cross over. even making it easier for asian american artists and business in general to not feel as unwelcomed. a lot of the progress was slow and covid both hindered progress and helped progress due to the stop asian hate movement. bts were targeted more but also made every day people feel a little safer. but as late as 2022 people said only asians supported bts and some still deny their reach even tho they sold out wembley in 2019. we never know what false info new people believe so we never know if people get it or if we have to convince them which is why theres so many diverse replies of what to do next, who the fan is, trying to guide based on the new persons music taste etc because the amount of racist people or just uninformed people who believe the lies told by media we come across is every day. youll see if you react to bts hardships 2021 by xceleste and the mistreatment of bts by affectaed and other boracity videos like bts vs radio or kpop without the k etc theres so much to learn in this space to truly appreciate the music dare i say theres even korean and asian history to be learned to understand a lot of bts songs too. example bts nearly being blacklisted by the former president in 2016 for performing a subtle protest song on live tv (am i wrong by bts) that non koreans wont even understand the weight or context or bravery of that performance unless they know the context behind the words used in the lyrics and the dance moves meanings. it just feels like a surface level fun upbeat track but was so much deeper. or their song spring day and music video that also told the story of one of the biggest tragedy's in korea as well as calling out corruption as the govt was trying to cover up what happened. or the fact that bts enlisted when they did to stick it to the govt which was the president who just got impeached recently. bts are a famous group who didnt lose themselves in the money and still make music as if theyre nobodies with no platform and no target on their backs when every release more and more risk is added. this isnt conspiracy either theres proof for everything im saying. anyways ill stop here youll get to this eventually :)
i think u should watch bts hardships 2013-2021 i see someone already put that in the comments here but i agree with them.. its crazy what they went thru its a miracle they didnt give up. it just shows how strong they really are!
I'm 44, hardcore ARMY. First time I watch you guys. What's important to take away from this is not to make assumptions, not about the members and definitely not about ARMY. ARMYs are everywhere, we are from all ages, from all over the world and have very diverse backgrounds and social standings. there are ARMYS that are just kids and those who are living at retirement homes.
I am 55 years old. I can tell you there are many older fans. The chart she used was old. BTS label is the biggest in SK now, and it's all because of BTS. Boracity has a lot of great videos
I'm 73 and I intend on. Keep watching him for the rest of my life. Because you know, they are a very spiritually oriented group that I can feel there greatness, and I just love every one of them like they're my grandsons❤❤
Boracity Magazine has many videos that help ARMY to learn how to support BTS which includes how the industry works or in BTS case how the industry works "against" BTS PLEASE react to another Boracity video "WHY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS TERRIFIED OF BTS" that video was an eye opening for many baby ARMY and it will help you understand why you never heard of BTS until recently. THANK YOU BORAHAE
Love your reactions! 64 yr old Army here! Found BTS in 2018 and never looked back. Keep reacting and you will be amazed on what those 7 artist can do! 💜
The demographic of their fans varies from platform to platform. You'll have older audience here and much younger ones on tiktok. The keyword is; not teenagers. Personally, i think this video is the best for starters and other intro video is better for more detailed info. It's not easy for BTS coming from a small label. They still receive hate till this day. That's why army is very protective of them. BTS always puts their group as top priority. During their solo era, they repeatedly said that they missed other members. Other than their diverse discography, one thing that strikes me is how relatable BTS is to our daily lives. They're not scared to show their funny, goofy or unfortunate moments with us and they stay humble too.
New follower , I love your reacctions to BTS and you still have a long way to go , because it is not only their MUSIC as a gruop but also as soloist , love u guys 💜💜
I’m 49. And my wife is also ARMY. She is 57. Bora’s guide is great for completely new people. BTS doesn’t stick to one genre of music, so I like the songs that she chose to highlight. It gives a good range of what they can do. Taylor’s guide is incredibly well done. It is a bit older now, but really covers all of BTS Chapter One really well. It’s more detailed than Bora’s guide and shows you more about their personalities. I strongly recommend watching it if you found this one interesting. (Chapter One refers from their trainee days to May 2022. In June of 2022, BTS started Chapter Two. They needed to suspend group activities so they could get their military service completed. Also during this time, they worked on solo projects. In June of 2025, BTS will all be back from the military and they will start group activities again.)
BTS inspire us to do better and to be better.... they lead by example and regardless of how they are treated by the industry and some of those in it, they remain positive and dedicated. It's because of their consistent attitude and work ethic that Army give back... we support them by organising charity work in their name and streaming/purchasing their music.
I discovered BTS two years ago. I was in rehabilitation after a back surgery and didn’t have much to do. I just decided to look them up, bc I had heard they were so big but I didn’t know anything about them so I was curious about them. I just watched everything I could find and it took me less than two weeks to totally fall for them. There are multiple reasons and it goes beyond music but their music alone is captivating, different from what I’m used to, so creative and absolutely beautiful. They even got me listening to rap 🤷♀️… The only “criticism” I’ve got is that they’re too damn talented and work so incredibly hard it’s giving me a complex 🤣🤣🤣. V is my bias. Borahae 💜🫰🏻!
I am 56 and have been an ARMY for over 10 years, I have found the age range of the fandom is extensive. I had never joined any fandom before this one and it wasn't just because of the music, it was because of those 7 young men. their behind the scenes episodes, their livestreams, and their variety shows are just some of the most entertaining things ever, throw in the incredible performances and music and you have the greatest package ever. I have never regretted becoming ARMY.
There is A LOT of BTS content to explore and everyone has started their BTS journey differently. No one way is better than another. Just enjoy the ride! 😎😂💜 The Rise of Bangtan - Chapters 1-20 or 21 (bonus and deleted scenes), created by ARMY, is an Awesome way to see BTS journey and understanding K-Pop. DKDKTV channel does an AMAZING job at translating/explaining some of BTS songs.
They have at least 50M fans (from their followers on every platform, they have a consistent 70M-79M followers on every social media), of course you are never gonna see a fixed age limit in their fandom, it depends on which platform you are on, also 30-35% are men, I have seen so many dads in 40s and men in 30s and 20s, couples in 50s and 60s in the fandom! From the survey, the oldest was a 73 years old grandpa but I have also seen 83 years old army, so It's safe to not assume their fandom's age limit and gender! As she said, the assumption about BTS will be completely wrong, I've learned that after I got to know them and their fandom!
I found BTS 10 years ago... when I was 50.. so yes, at 60 I am still a huge fan and my very large group of friends that I have met thru BTS are all older... I think the youngest is 52 and our oldest is 68.... I am not sure where she got her info bc there is a huge mature audience!
As you continue reacting to BTS and learning more about them, Boracity has a number of other video essays that are very interesting and well done. In particular, she has one about the industry being afraid of BTS and it’s the best I’ve seen yet at explaining why BTS has always been outsiders in the industry. Anyway, just something to keep an eye on if you’re interested! 💜
Thanks for the reaction Boracity video why the music industry is terrified of BTS will learn you more about hardships of BTS with the rankings Borahae 💜
i’m in my 20s (army since early 2018) but here on youtube, you’re gonna get more older fans commenting. i’ve noticed they like reaction videos more than younger fans do. most younger fans are wary of reactors or they watch but don’t comment.what boracity said is true. most of us are around bts’s age in 20s and 30s
43 year old army here. This group is so diverse. I have downloaded their ENTIRE discography because it has something for every mood I'm in. That's group AND solo songs.😂😊
I'm a 73 year old OT7 who has enjoyed them since 2017. They are great dancers, musicians and admirable young men. I'm too old for role models but they have made me rethink my philanthropy and other aspects of my life. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love both guides. Taylor's guide is more detailed and digs more into their personalities. It was created right before BTS went into hiatus and started their solo era, when the singers hadn't released any albums yet. I like Boracity's guide because it gives you an idea about how diverse BTS is musically, with snippets to illustrate this fact. It was created recently, when all members have released a solo album, so it's able to give you an overview of each member's music style.
I’m 54, female, African-American, from the United States. What they’re trying to show you is BTS fans are not preteen to 25, BTS fans are from 25 to 75. They have more fans that are older than 35 and 40 than most Boy groups. And from 2013 till now is that I didn’t even bigger. Think about it, who’s paying to go to the concert when the concert tickets run from $150 all the way up to $450. Teenagers are not buying that the adults are and the adults are going to those concerts.
I'm a 56 year old ARMY here since late 2019. I love both Taylor and Bora's guides. Rice Squad's guide and XCeleste guides are also great. Bora's guide is a great introduction to BTS. Taylor's guide is a great guide about the members of BTS. Rice Squad's guide is a great guide about their music and discography. And XCeleste's has a few great guides, especially the one about the hardships BTS experienced. One of the first guides I watched about BTS was by Sugar and Spice channel but it's kind of outdated now. Ida S channel also has a good guide. It's not just BTS' talent, it's their humility, they're genuine, and they are funny as hell! I think you guys have come to realize from reading the comments that the BTS ARMY is a vast, varied, diverse group of a majority of dedicated, loving people. Welcome to the family! 💜💜
I'm a 52 year old ARMY , and I've been ARMY since 2017. They are so varied that I never get bored. I have never seen such talented and hardworking people...
I agree with you guys. Because most of the time they think of the colorful candy pop with the first song they listen to is mainly dynamite. I'm not saying that dynamite is bad. But unfortunately people they stop there because a lot really does not care for it. They are so different individually in their music tastes and even group songs are all different genre's. It's so fun to start a new MV and not know what it will be. I've seen reactors thru the years say after watching say that's not what I thought when I read the name of the song. 🤣 Even when they did album reviews. There b sides are so good.
Her guide us a nice extension of Taylor's because it touches on their individual colors. I also left a comment on one of your other reactions about another bio video from the lens of their albums. It gives a sense of how deep their discography goes and more of their evolution musically from Rice Squad called: "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 Update!)". [be sure to chose the 2023 update] It gives a condensed history of K-pop music , how Big Hit started, how BTS came to be, and their evolution from Hip Hop to IDOL using the chronology of their album releases to take you from their beginnings pre debut to around August 2022. It also gives you the sense of the very tactical evolution of their sound over the years up to that point in time. This might give you an idea of where to start with their discography. Enjoy your journey.💜
This is the best intro guide to BTS imo, so not sure why people would say otherwise. As an older ARMY as well, I think people my age just don't frequent places that would run survey's and polls like the one that was used.
Algumas das músicas nesse guia 💜 Álbuns solos: RM - RPWP e Índigo Jin - Happy Suga - D Day J Hope - hope on in street vol 1 Jimin - Face, Muse V - layover JungKook - Golden Singles: We Are Bulletproof pt 2, Cypher 2, UGH!, Epiphany, Daechwita, Chicken Noodle Soup, Dreamers, Lie, Serendipity, Filter, More, Winter Ahead, Singularity, Still With You, Blood Sweet and Tears, Yet to Come, Danger, Black Swan, On, Fake Love, Dynamite (perdão, pois deixei passar algumas ainda)
I'm enjoying your journey down the BTS rabbit hole. Keep watching, you will be more amazed. Just a note on the demographics of the fandom. The chart that was used in the video is an old one from data at the beginning of 2019. Routers is the source of the information. At that time, the fandom was 31% male, 46 % female, and the rest unknown. If you look at that chart you'll see that the majority of ARMY at 30 yrs old and above. She say between 20 and 30 and that because she's looking at the bottom putting the largest group of 30 with the 2 yr olds. But if you look at the chart you'll see that if you add the 30 group with 40 and above, it's actually larger. Again, that was in 2019. Since then the fandom has expanded and I would say more 30, 40, and 50 have been added, but silver ARMY is really strong with folks in their 90s at the last concert in 2022 here in the states. The male component of the fandom has also increased since 2019. Also, this is the perfect video for newbies. Bora has wonderful videos that I think you would enjoy watching at some point. I've heard you ask why you haven't heard songs with billions of views, she has a video on that and why the industry hates and tries to sabotage BTS, complete with receipts Anyway, enjoy the journey and the music.
We are from school girls to 80 years old, our fandome have many older Armys in our fandome, beacuse we love Bts and there songs and lyrics and the guys personalitys. We know how mutch shit this guys have taking hate from other groups, haters.
23:53 you’re right. Not knowing about bts is exactly where you should be when watching this exact video. People who made that claim are probably impatient and probably wanted you to just dive into their song suggestions or only watch way longer videos from jump. In reality, anyone with two brain cells would realize this guide is the most helpful for new people when it comes to expectations and the basics. Boracity makes some of the best content for bts regarding the music industry/media coverage as a whole. I still suggest my top songs for you to eventually check out one day: 1. Louder than Bombs (experimental r&b? There’s a reaaaally good unofficial music video with subs) 2. Airplane Pt. 2 (Latin pop/hip hop fusion-all members shine in the best way) 3. Run BTS dance practice (a recent track that also perfectly blends all members and multiple genres, but more on the alt-hip hop side). There’s no music video but I think yall would enjoy the choreo, it’s tough. Honorable mention is “pied piper” for crazy smooth rap paired with good vocals on a funky disco type beat.
I'm a 67 year old Army... 💜 I love BTS. They are amazing vocalists, lyricists, dancers, rappers, and overall performers. They are humble and kind, and natural born comedians as well. I've traveled down the road with all kinds of music & genres in my younger years to now and I've not found SO much versatility and brotherhood as BTS in a group. I still enjoy ALOT of music but BTS is on my top playlist. Thank you both for your great reaction, it is very appreciated ❤
When I went to 2 of their concerts, I was crying, shouting side by side people younger and older than me, and I'm 44 😀. We exchanged merch and numbers. I've now two close friends - one from India (a young medical student) and one from Europe (works with programming). I guess, there's no age limit when it comes to loving their music. The rap line caught my attention first, but I love all 7. 💜
I like both guides as they focus on slightly different things and Boracity covers much of the newer solo work. Suga is too busy to do that much producing for the group as a whole and I think you will find that their Big-Hit in house producer PDogg has done a lot of the production on their records as well as others from time to time. Big Hit grew so much from BTS success that they formed a multi label company called Hybe which is now bigger than the former Big 3 K-pop companies in Korea.
Hello! Thanks for reacting to this video 😊 I’m 40 years old and have been an ARMY since 2021. Before I started getting into them I thought they were just another typical boy band. Then I learned more and more about them and their music. The first song I heard was “Butter.” I heard it in a Samsung commercial. I thought it was catchy and liked it. Then I heard my 10 yr old son listening to it. I asked him who it was and he said, “This is BTS, you should listen to them. They’re really good.” The first mv I saw was “DNA” and I was so impressed by their dancing. When I started listening to more I realized that they don’t really sing the “bubble gum pop” type of music. They talk about real $h!t that other artists don’t. Their music actually help people. I hope you guys continue your BTS journey. Suggestions- the “Cypher” series is good. Deep meaning song- “The Truth Untold” and “Blue and Gray.” Music videos with really impressive choreography- “ON kinetic manifesto film,” and “Run BTS dance practice.”
I basically grew up with bts, I started listening to them in middle school and now I’m in in my second year of college, I love seeing them try different genres every comeback, I’ve listened to other groups but I always end up coming back to bts
Bts aspire to grow and learn even when their career is on the top right now(they are each others best hype man you can say). They are so different when it comes to style or personality, but they were able to have a bond closer than family . Bts will reunite in 150 days (5 months) we all are so excited.
I love both Taylors and Bora's... I do not think one is better than the other but they both cover every thing, they complement each other. Taylors is great first bc she goes in to deep explanations of each member and how they came to be in BTS... then after, Bora's because she has their most up to date accomplishments... The thing with BTS, being a long time follower.. there is sooo much out there on them, it is hard to sum them up bc they continue to out do themselves and are constantly growing. When I say BTS are so much more ... they are obv extremely talented as a group and as individuals but there are so many other things, the RUNS, the BonVoyages, In The Soop, Winter and Summer packages, dance practices, the BU (bangtan universe) which is a story told thru their mv's on comebacks... they have done so much for ARMYs... I love the shows, RUNS etc bc they really show their unique quirks and personalities... they never fail to make me laugh!
I watched their videos for 2 years now. And I didn't even know that this one existed, and when you said yeah, that it was a couple months old or something I was surprised because I had never seen it before.. So this is the latest one made for them, and it's pretty amazing... I like the original one by Taylor because it showed how they came up from the beginnings. I always loved that, and that really makes you grow closer to them to see how they really started out right, but this one was really good. It really showed all of their talents. Bang bang Bang You saw it and you can't deny it and it's it Exciting And they're just top of the line. No one will ever be able to come together like these guys have because they are just special and special in this world.... I'm a spiritual person. I just believe they've been sent 4 certain reasons. And as you can see, they're messages of love and caring and their hearts, I just out there right on display and you don't see that in your average person but also Korean culture is so different, because they are disciplined. And they learned to control themselves at an early age, and they are very loving and outward in their expressions of love, no matter what you're male or female, they're very expressive, which turned some men off. But they are very lucky to be able to love the way that they do. But they're also very call chirol, and stick to the way that they were raised with respect and comman decency.... Also, we can see from their culture. They are d*** hard workers and they stick together, but there's just no rhyme or reason. And that's why there's a spiritual nature to their whole selves, and their whole reason for being here. That's what I have to say. I'm an old lady and you might Think that I don't know much but I do know something about being blessed and they are blessed and put here four reasons beyond anyone's comprehension... Sorry for the errors. I get all excited when I'm speaking about them, because in my lifetime, I've never been interested in any real group music. I love music overall and listen to it to relax riding in my car. Etc but yeah, I got introduced to this group for some unknown reason I started watching k. Pops just to do something different, because I do not respect Western. TV or music anymore because it's just the same old same old and I wanted to see something different. And I saw that in the Asian culture and that's how I ran into it. And I'm 73 years old and my grandson can't believe it either, but I'm very happy watching them and living and learning. And I'm glad that you 2 guys poor only a few of the people who are doing this, that really is know what they're doing. And I really respect both of you. Thank you for all of your influences and your comments.Cause they're some the very best god bless you both....❤😂🎉
Boracity is amazing. You've mentioned many times while reacting to BTS that its crazy you've never heard any of their songs. You may want to check out Boracity 's video " Why the music industry is terrified of BTS".
Thanks for the reaction‼️ We’re glad that you understand them more. I enjoyed the video too. Both videos were very informative. … Now you should watch and see where they were within their album standings through the years. Watch “ The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A BTS Story “, by Rice Squad‼️ you’ll see where they ranked on billboard charts, from their first album tiI present. Thanks again ‼️💜🫶🏼💜
every army and even BTS acknowledge the fact that ( 7-1=0) meaning that we should love and appreciate every member equally and BTS themselves have that respect for eachother. loved the reaction and hope to see you guys react to more BTS and get to know them better, because BTS is a group that always pushes themselves to the limit and show us new colors💜
I say, check your own channel stats.
Nice points! Thanks for sharing
@@jacque1in very good!
The majority of the fanbase is 20s and 30s. You can see that at their concerts. They are more active. However, there are also teens and senior ARMY. Remember, this is the biggest fandom globally. Also, there are many male fans.
Well, if you see the stats, 20+,30+ and 40+ are pretty much all about the same size (+20%)...
I'm a 64 year old ARMY , and I've been ARMY since they 2013.
65 year old ARMY since 2018. I had major heart surgery in 2018. When I was going through recovery, I saw a dance practice BTS did. I was amazed. I thought if they can practice that long, then I can surely workout for 10 minutes. BTS is very inspiring indeed. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
💜
I’m 60
💜, im 47
@Beth_12345 💜

BTS Hardships 2013-2021 by XCeleste 💜
I agree. This is a good documentary to watch. But please watch a BTS performance video first. Then another doc. There should be 2 categories. Not just one with the top number in my humble opinion.
Yes. A hard one to watch but necessary.💜💜
This! Please..
yes please
I am 53 years old proud ARMY 💜
We love boracity shes so incredibly talented.
FESTA 2021!
Yes that's one of my favorite ones❤
You are so right! BTS fans are mostly their age. UA-cam audiences are much older. That explains the comments 😉
SUGA is the main producer *within the members*. He is not the group's main producer. That would be PDogg, who is the only credited producer on every single one of BTS title track singles. The members do A LOT of helping and are asked for input. But PDogg is called "The 8th member" by the group for a reason.
Although Suga is a producer for other artists and has won awards as a Producer.
@@georgiana3112 Correct on every point. Well stated.
I'm 53 years old and love these guys music
Hey I'm an old person. I might ramble, but I love what I have to say about BTS. If it's rambling it's love lol
I don’t think they’re wrong with the demographics but even if the numbers are smaller higher up in the chart, ARMY is so incredibly big that it still counts for millions up there too.
loved the reaction so much and 100% recommend doing more of boracity videos shes so informative and will help you have a easier time navigating this fandom.
i think those who said to do more music first was possible 2 reasons 1 song spoilers and 2 not every army knows boracity so some are unfamiliar with her videos or just want you to see their favorite songs quicker lol
just like bts a fandom like this hasnt really existed before because we reject the hysterical fangirl crazy stereotype even tho there are some who do behave that way sometimes. and when we talk about age we dont mean 100% theres no other ages of fans besides what we said. we means generally. of course theres kids and teens and older adults who are fans and in large numbers but thats because the overall fandom is so huge you cant really put a number on it. were also in a turning point where bts are gaining respect in the western/global industry so many fans who maybe were hiding they were fans due to being judged as "creepy" for being too old or fans who are school aged and dont want to get bullied for it are starting to appear more and more as bts are being accepted.
when i became a fan in 2018 bts were laughed at still even though they had broken the door in 2017 making it easier for not just korean but asian artists in general to cross over. even making it easier for asian american artists and business in general to not feel as unwelcomed. a lot of the progress was slow and covid both hindered progress and helped progress due to the stop asian hate movement. bts were targeted more but also made every day people feel a little safer.
but as late as 2022 people said only asians supported bts and some still deny their reach even tho they sold out wembley in 2019. we never know what false info new people believe so we never know if people get it or if we have to convince them which is why theres so many diverse replies of what to do next, who the fan is, trying to guide based on the new persons music taste etc because the amount of racist people or just uninformed people who believe the lies told by media we come across is every day.
youll see if you react to bts hardships 2021 by xceleste and the mistreatment of bts by affectaed and other boracity videos like bts vs radio or kpop without the k etc theres so much to learn in this space to truly appreciate the music dare i say theres even korean and asian history to be learned to understand a lot of bts songs too. example bts nearly being blacklisted by the former president in 2016 for performing a subtle protest song on live tv (am i wrong by bts) that non koreans wont even understand the weight or context or bravery of that performance unless they know the context behind the words used in the lyrics and the dance moves meanings. it just feels like a surface level fun upbeat track but was so much deeper. or their song spring day and music video that also told the story of one of the biggest tragedy's in korea as well as calling out corruption as the govt was trying to cover up what happened. or the fact that bts enlisted when they did to stick it to the govt which was the president who just got impeached recently. bts are a famous group who didnt lose themselves in the money and still make music as if theyre nobodies with no platform and no target on their backs when every release more and more risk is added. this isnt conspiracy either theres proof for everything im saying. anyways ill stop here youll get to this eventually :)
i think u should watch bts hardships 2013-2021 i see someone already put that in the comments here but i agree with them.. its crazy what they went thru its a miracle they didnt give up. it just shows how strong they really are!
I think both guides are helpful, love both. Thanks for reacting!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I am 55 years old. I can tell you there are many older fans. The chart she used was old. BTS label is the biggest in SK now, and it's all because of BTS. Boracity has a lot of great videos
52 and ARMY for the rest of my life ✌️💜
I'm 73 and I intend on. Keep watching him for the rest of my life. Because you know, they are a very spiritually oriented group that I can feel there greatness, and I just love every one of them like they're my grandsons❤❤
Boracity Magazine has many videos that help ARMY to learn how to support BTS which includes how the industry works or in BTS case how the industry works "against" BTS
PLEASE react to another Boracity video "WHY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS TERRIFIED OF BTS"
that video was an eye opening for many baby ARMY and it will help you understand why you never heard of BTS until recently.
THANK YOU
BORAHAE
Love your reactions!
64 yr old Army here! Found BTS in 2018 and never looked back.
Keep reacting and you will be amazed on what those 7 artist can do! 💜
I'm a 49 proud Army for lots of years! I went it their concert in Vegas and I saw all kinds of people and ages from all over the world.
I love their music, love their focus, hard work, personalities, and their individual talents. Proud to being Army, and watching their growth 💜
I'm a 57 year old African American female I been ARMY since 2017
The demographic of their fans varies from platform to platform.
I’m an ARMY and I’m 35 years old ❤! Became a Fan 2015 … they saved me and I’m forever grateful! Thank you for reacting ❤! Hello from Arkansas
BTS"DOPE"
BTS inspire us to do better and to be better.... they lead by example and regardless of how they are treated by the industry and some of those in it, they remain positive and dedicated. It's because of their consistent attitude and work ethic that Army give back... we support them by organising charity work in their name and streaming/purchasing their music.
bts’s fan base has grown up with them due to them speaking about their real life struggles and societal issues. that’s why most are around bts’s age
The Rise of Bangtan - Chapters 1-20 or 21 (bonus and deleted scenes), created by ARMY, is an Awesome way to see BTS journey and understanding K-Pop.
Hello. I'm 50 and my children are 23 years old and we are all part of the ARMY's. Thank you for your reactions 💜
I found BTS 10 years ago... when I was 50.. so yes, at 60 I am still a huge fan and my very large group of friends that I have met thru BTS are all older... I think the youngest is 52 and our oldest is 68.... I am not sure where she got her info bc there is a huge mature audience!
66 year old Army here. Sure their global audience may be between 20 and 30 but there are plenty of us "silver" Army out here!
53 yrs old, a BTS ARMY since 2019 and still very much into them. Thank you for appreciating our boys.
I’m almost 50. I am a BTS fan.
Fr 7 years into the fandom ,and I don't know what we will get next lol it's never boring like this
63 years young and have loved BTS since 2021. Them and their music have gotten me through some really tough times.
I agree with you - this is a great guide for new bts fans. I really like your reactions - I'm subscribed and here for the journey. 💜
Thank you so much!!
One of the younger Armys here, but I’m 22 and found them when I was 15. I can say I’m happy I got to grow up with them! 💜
You are so lucky!!!☺️ I am 54. I would love to be 22 again!
I was 14 when I discovered them randomly on yt, and I'm 21 this year . Growing up with them has been so fun
60 year old here… now you need to react to their Hardships video to see what they wen thru to get to where they are.. i like both versions…
BTS // FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS [2019]

Thank you, I loved what you had to share❤
I still suggest my top songs for you to eventually check out one day:
1. Louder than Bombs (experimental r&b? There’s a reaaaally good unofficial music video with subs)
2. Airplane Pt. 2 (Latin pop/hip hop fusion-all members shine in the best way)
Those 3 labels were back in 2013There's 1⁄4 label now and that is which BTS built from the ground up
4th
Hybe
I basically grew up with bts, I started listening to them in middle school and now I’m in in my second year of college, I love seeing them try different genres every comeback, I’ve listened to other groups but I always end up coming back to bts
If you go to boracity’s channel she has a lot of amazing content in regards to BTS
58 years old Army from Italy here, since 2020!
Tengo 50 años, me encanta BTS 💜
You can see a glimpse of their diverse music in Festa 2021 medley performance❤
Bts aspire to grow and learn even when their career is on the top right now(they are each others best hype man you can say). They are so different when it comes to style or personality, but they were able to have a bond closer than family . Bts will reunite in 150 days (5 months) we all are so excited.
I am 53 years old who love BTS from Indonesia 💜
Obrigada por mais uma reação 🥰💜
52 year old Army here.
43 year old Army here. 💜💜💜
Hi, I’m 47 and from Australia and BTS found me end of COVID in 2021/2022 and have been hooked since. 💜
Thank you for all of your influences and your comments.Cause they're some the very best god bless you both....❤😂🎉
I'm 65 and been a fan for three years now. 💜
I'm 48 yrs young and my bestie is 50 and we're proud army from Philippines 💜BORAHAE💜
“BTS Nobody to legends” please ,it’s not takes a lot time 💜
I'm 33 years old and have been in the BTS Army since 2018. I wish I had discovered them earlier.
Soon to be 45 year old ARMY here 💜. I fell down the BTS rabbit hole when the pandemic started in 2020
Concordo!! Esse vídeo, na minha opinião, é o melhor guia pra quem está entrando no universo BTS!! O primeiro guia a ser assistido!! 💜
😂 just when you think you have it figured it out, they switch it up. BTS is just amazing. 59 year old Army here with kids in their 20s.
