Much indebted for an outstanding video. Had to format the USB drive before using, and notices that I don't get FAT32 as a format option (for the USB drive in Windows) so I just assumed that exFAT works equally well. I noticed that Rufus displays large FAT32 as its default file system. UNFORTUNATELY I AM GETTING STUCK at the Kernel boot message and cannot boot into Chromium OS.

Followed every step, when running Chromium from the pendrive it runs fine, but only for 5 minutes because the fan starts running and the screen brigh turns low as the battery was dying and the OS turn off. Always the same over and over again.....

That is Chromium OS and is not a true Chromebook OS.

Is it Bluetooth or it has a dongle? If BT, it might require configuration, if it has a dongle, it will work

It might be the time zone, in Chromium adjust it. To fix it in Windows, go to Settings, Time and Language and click Sync
