Very easy to understand video Brody 👍. Would you say this version is better compared to the previous ones? I feel it's too wide, heavy and less responsive. Closer to the Asics Court FF3 now and somehow is missing the point. It's already in a discount so it's probably not selling that well. Thank you
I have tried the Gel Resolution X. I would just caution everyone when going half size down. Yes it’s roomier compared to Gel Res 9s however if they have a wide foot like mine maybe they should try a true to size shoe because of how rigid and stiff the dynawalls are on the lateral sides. After 2 hours of play they might feel soreness on the lateral longitudinal arch (if they normally put most of their weight on the sides like me). Also i would advise people to use thicker socks because of heel slippage regardless of lacing modifications or thicker socks you will still feel some heel slippage due to the higher medial wall. Although, it felt weird at the beginning; I hardly noticed it during my plays. Lastly, it takes some breaking in it’s a true stability shoe so if you’re looking for one to prevent rolling your ankles. This is good. But as for comfort that’s up to you because it feels stiff on my experience. But yeah great stability shoe if you ask me. I think it’s also has very durable outsole.
@@bournejason66 unfortunately i can only speak for myself. You have to try it for yourself because every feet is different and every play style is different. For me out of the box i felt the rigid and stiff part on the lateral sides. And i knew if i played more than 2 hours i would feel some soreness. Which is why i suggest wearing thicker socks or socks that has cushion to relieve that pressure. Like the Thorlo socks. It has paddings enough for me to feel cushioned. And again Gel X has a bit more room compared to Gel 9. And the thicker socks help fill those extra spaces. So if comfort is what you’re looking for it’s similar padding on Gel 9 it’s just stiff on the lateral sides for me because of that higher dynawall that they changed. Also, it took me 15 hours of play to break this shoes in. So if you think about it this is probably a good thing if you are looking for a stability shoes. You don’t want shoes that easily break in cuz if they break in fast then they would break down or worn out fast.

Thanks for the video. Could you give a comparison of weight difference between the res 9 and 10 in the sizes you have?

Is it comfortable on the court?
