- The rainy days we had in the last wee while didn’t just mean we had time to do our Q&A, but also gave me the chance to go through some of my memory cards. Nala and I came across loads of footage that has so far not made it into any of our videos, so we thought we would share some of that with you just now 😻😻😻

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. So feel free to tag along if you’re interested in following our journey and adventures around the globe ❤️

You saved her life and for that she'll love you unconditionally until her last breath. Enjoy every second you have with her. A bond like that only happens once in a lifetime.

Who else absolutely loves Dean's taste in music? On top of being a cute cat and a cool man, we get to listen to upbeat EDM. Makes it even better!
It's lovely to see her when she was so small, her personality and fighting skills developing...rapidly. I like that you keep her survival skills sharp and let her explore the world on her terms...her personality shines through. You have some mad skills with snow, the igloo looked great! It's nice to see someone genuinely enjoying the adventure, making the best out of difficulties and not hiding the fact that hills are hard. People have seemed friendly and you in return ... I like that too. I don't know how you don't ditch the bike more often play fighting with Nala in the basket but you handled the water crossing drop like a champ. You two were meant to find each other, pure kismet. Thank you for the post, stay safe and continued happiness.

I once joked to a friend about my Dad & the special bond he formed w/ a little stray Tux that showed up on his porch one day - saying, "that God knew that Cat needed my Dad." To which she responded, "God KNEW your DAD needed that Cat!"
It was funny too when Boots showed up he loved on that cat saying "I prayed God would bring me a little friend like you. I just thought He would bring me a dog, but you will do!" Joke was on my Dad, as that cat ended up turning into being as big as a medium sized dog!😂 He was my Dad's best friend & snuggly buddy....all 3 1/2 feet long, 22 Lbs of him!!!!😆

All animals are sentient and deserving of equal respect whether they are a cat, dog, elephant, bird, pig, you name it. Animals are way more emotional and intelligent than the people want to believe.

My cat still chases his tail and he soon turnes 6! 😂 I always laugh at him when he does it, he's so cute! 😊💕

Cat owners of super rich personality cats will know what a delight they are as kittens, and trust me, she will be like this for the rest of her life. I’ve had cats for about 20 years, and these wee gems are super stars. Not saying that not all cats aren’t, just some are “bouncier” than others 😂😂

The best part is when Nala is playing in Her basket, what a joy for Her, love You Guys!!!!! You have better understanding and love for each other then some people in relationship

I was watching how Nala loved whenever she's close to you and especially when you gently nibble her ear with your lips. She just closes her eyes and savor the precious moments with you.

That igloo may very well have become too warm afore the night was up. With both Dean and Nala inside and that good arctic tolerance snuggle gear, I'd put money that both slept warm and comfy that night.

Had to watch this video collection again. Time flies so fast - can't believe it has been almost four years since Nala chose you to be her dad, Dean. Those celadon-colored eyes of hers... mesmerizing! My "Nala" had gold green eyes, her "sister" had deep emerald eyes. Just fascinating to look into. Best wishes for you two and your family.

Caroline Knapp, a really wonderful writer who sadly died in her early 40s wrote a book called “Pack of Two”, that has one description out of many that describes the gift of an animal relationship. I paraphrase by saying that animals allow us to express deep, frequent and a kind of affection that would be boundary pushing with another human being. Most of need the freedom of these expressions. Dean has discovered this with Nala.
Exactly what I would have told my brother, "It would be funny if it (the igloo) collapses on you through the night." That gave me a really good chuckle.
