Yeah despite all it's shortcomings Fallout 4 at least had an interesting world to explore compared to Starfields procedural slop. Seriously I landed on the first planet, explored and when I found the exact same structure as on the first one but with mercenaries instead of pirates (which are the exact same) I lost all interest to explore anything aside from main quests. When I had to run back and forth between the mars city and a dungeon multiple times for the same quest (which took 5-10 minutes each) I also lost interest in that. Then I tried outposts and found a perfect place but then I had no way to pin materials I needed and had to run to a shop multiple times and all the resources and skill points I needed to get it halfway functional were way more than I'd ever need to get all the upgrades for my gear etc. and I'd need multiple outposts. There is 0 point for them. In Fallout 4 it at least felt like you brought life back to the wasteland and had to build around existing structures. In Starfield you just build an outpost like all the others litering every area of every planet. They are enormous resource and skill point drains that might make you a lot of money later but who has money issues in Bethesda games?

"I hope Bethesda NEVER make TES6" Why? Because it will be a worse version of the same game they have been making for the last 20 years. And it's going to be disappointing to the degree that it could very well damage the universe so much that we will never get another game set there. And that's because Bethesda right now works like this: "Screw design documents" "Don't listen to criticism" "If it doesnt work at first, don't try to improve it, just remove it" "Strip down the game to the most basic features and if people say anything tell them it was intentional" "Make the game and release it, the modders will fix and add things later" "Everything runs through Todd" "Never make a game that is deeper or more interesting, just make it bigger" "Keeps saying that "I think players are ready for that now" and then show a building system." "The writers are not beholding to things that were created 10 years ago. Screw you and what you like about the setting." "Don't playtest" "If you don't like it, don't use it. So almost everything in the game is either half baked or completely obsolete." "Look back on the games they made in the past, remove features that could have been improved and served as a base, and call it "streamlining" and "we are making a game for everyone"". "Be a billion dollar company and making games that would be cutting edge, beautiful and amazing, if they released in 2003" "Remove bugs (optional)"
All I’d want for ES6 is: A detailed and intriguing story Updated graphics A new Skyrim sized and detailed world New weapons and spells It’s not much, and yet I know Bethesda would drop the ball at the first hurdle
I really don't understand why ES 6 is the last bastion of hope for people. They think Bethesda were releasing garbage on purpose but won't with 6? That dumpster fire Starfield was the best that they could do with 8 years and half a billion dollars. It'd be great if Starfield was a kick in the pants for them, but even if it was, they don't know what to do anymore. The best we can get is Fallout 4 with swords. Same fetch quests, more radiant garbage, no interactivity, no killing named npc's, no quest/narrative branching or choices... useless and monotonous dialog. It's really just gonna be the same game as all the others, but worse. Why do they even bother if each release loses more soul? Just a machine churning to churn. People'll still fork over the cash. I'm going to wait until after launch. After the hype. After reviews. When chanels with 200 subs release 2 hour long videos about how and why ES 6 is good artistically, as a crafted experience. If that happens, then maybe I'll pick it up.
The ES6 trailer was a lie told to soften the blow of the ES mobile game announcement. They saw the backlash Blizzard got for Diablo Immortal and scrambled to render some 3D mountains.
Fallout 3 would have unironically worked better 20 years after the war assuming they fixed other lore inconsistencies like super mutants and the BOS being there. The state of the world, lore, and characters would make more sense.
A lot of us know full well the elder scrolls 6 is going to be trash and expect it, but unfortunately a lot of people have not been force fed crap enough to realize it just yet.

"I hope Bethesda NEVER make TES6"
Why?
Because it will be a worse version of the same game they have been making for the last 20 years.
And it's going to be disappointing to the degree that it could very well damage the universe so much that we will never get another game set there.
And that's because Bethesda right now works like this:
"Screw design documents"
"Don't listen to criticism"
"If it doesnt work at first, don't try to improve it, just remove it"
"Strip down the game to the most basic features and if people say anything tell them it was intentional"
"Make the game and release it, the modders will fix and add things later"
"Everything runs through Todd"
"Never make a game that is deeper or more interesting, just make it bigger"
"Keeps saying that "I think players are ready for that now" and then show a building system."
"The writers are not beholding to things that were created 10 years ago. Screw you and what you like about the setting."
"Don't playtest"
"If you don't like it, don't use it. So almost everything in the game is either half baked or completely obsolete."
"Look back on the games they made in the past, remove features that could have been improved and served as a base, and call it "streamlining" and "we are making a game for everyone"".
"Be a billion dollar company and making games that would be cutting edge, beautiful and amazing, if they released in 2003"
"Remove bugs (optional)"
In 2018, I was playing Skyrim on my smart fridge here in the good ol' USA🇺🇸.
All I’d want for ES6 is:
A detailed and intriguing story
Updated graphics
A new Skyrim sized and detailed world
New weapons and spells
It’s not much, and yet I know Bethesda would drop the ball at the first hurdle
It can't disappoint me because Bethesda left my timeline with the release of Dogshit 76.
Skyrim was so good at the time that nothing Bethesda does will ever have the same impact.
No Jeremy Soule = no TES.
Even if it ends up being good, you’re still probably better off waiting for them to add features, updates and DLC before you play it anyway.
Good point
Clicking onto an Enclave Emily rant about Bethesda and hearing Vaush get flamed in the first 30 seconds is like a cherry on the cake.
The thing I’m most excited for from Elder Scrolls 6 is the mods that’ll be made adding content inspired by it into Skyrim
So you created a dragon break. in one universe elder scrolls 6 well be amazing, and a different universe it'll be dog shit.
Couldn’t agree more. Do not pre-order!!
In 2018 i met my wife for the first time kek
It won't disappoint me , I stopped expecting a good rpg from bethesda when I played fallout 4.
@@escapeeatcake Yeah Fallout 4 was giving obvious signs its all tourist/casual central from here on. 1 step forward 3 steps back type shi
I had mastered many slurs by 2018 and have conquered more since, my repertoire shall grow in the future as well, do not underestimate me
I will pretend to be from the future and say that the world collapsed on itself because Bethesda failed, lol. Can't wait to see it again!
You assume I have any hope for the game in the first place.
The ES6 trailer was a lie told to soften the blow of the ES mobile game announcement. They saw the backlash Blizzard got for Diablo Immortal and scrambled to render some 3D mountains.
I was fixing waterholes for wildlife in zimbabwe in 2018
I think that starfield is a glaring example that Bethesda have lost their magic
You were what
@@EnclaveEmily Fixing waterholes for wildlife in Zimbabwe in 2018
Sounds like an ecological effort
Fallout 3 would have unironically worked better 20 years after the war assuming they fixed other lore inconsistencies like super mutants and the BOS being there. The state of the world, lore, and characters would make more sense.
You are wrong TES 6 won't disappoint me, because I expect nothing from Bethesda except the lowest tier, most bland garbage, possible.
I expect TES:6 to be about as "good" and I am looking forward to it as much as your average colonoscopy
They only announced TES6 to boost company value while in talks to sell to microsoft.
I hadn't considered this. Might have to look into it
After FO4, FO76, and now Starfield. ES:6 is definitely going to be subpar at best.
Disappointed? No lol seeing them lose a bunch more money on this will make me happy 🎉🎉
Well, Bethesda getting money is a reward for bad practices either way. It's a problem for us
A lot of us know full well the elder scrolls 6 is going to be trash and expect it, but unfortunately a lot of people have not been force fed crap enough to realize it just yet.
Toddy Howard in charge is disappointment in itself
I have reached this agonizing conclusion, that when I'm in my 50s or 60s and I boot up ES6, it's gonna suck.
I don't think that TES 6 is an impossible sequel, its just not possible for Bethesda to do it. They should hand the franchise to someone else honestly.
YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP! 2018 THE TRAILER...12 YEARS LATER, THE GAME.
"What were you doing in 2018?"
Just graduated high school back in 2018 🇺🇲
In 2018, I was going through the hell that was Grade 10 - 🇨🇦
Expecting anything more than disappointment from a Bethesda game at this point shows you haven't played a Bethesda game released in the last several years. They have become more a purveyor of garbage than a video game developer.
wait, they just entered production? its going to be worse than starfield. if bethesda just gave up on large rpg settings and did a cdpr just a small city maybe it could have been fun, but they will make tes all about rng roguelike dungeons
16 times the useless computer generated quests!
@@xlmncopq yes, by Bethesda's own words we've known for quite some time that they wouldn't start production on TES VI until they were done with Starfield. And yet for some reason a lot of fanboys keep the delusion that the game has been in development for almost decade
I have never liked Bethesda games, the only reason I play them is because the mods allow me to turn them somewhat into a game I wanted it to be, without mods I never would have played any of them
...Graduating. Ugh. Maaaaan, I don't think ES6 will disappoint me, I pretty much presume it will be a huge piece of shit.
Nah I know what to expect. They've regressed in game making since 2011. Their games speak for themselves.
I think many of these arguments can also be applied to Rockstar and GTA6 but most people I see still seem to blindly crave it and act like a pack of rabid dogs when you even think about showing skepticism towards it
On the bright side, if you go in with your expectations incredibly low, then even the slightest improvement from the typical bethesda game will be enough to impress you. I mean the bar is buried six feet deep how much can we expect?
naja i have hope for TES 6 it will be so good to see all fanboys crying about it^^

I don't need a video to know it's going to disappoint, I played starfield.
A new hope: Skyrim
The ReTodd strikes back: Fallout 4
Return of justworks: Elder scrolls 6
I am well aware it’s going to disappoint me but I’d appreciate not being reminded of that all the time. I’m an adult and I can choose blissful ignorance if I so wish.
What was I doing in 2018? Living in constant stress and anxiety during my first year as a father, hahaha.
Congrats on the family

Shoutout to my friends who said Starfield will be the Elite Dangerous killer and that im an idiot for saying itll be crap. They played the game for 3 weeks and never touched it again.
Hmm, what did I do in 2018? I was depressed and angsty, simped on a crush and learned not to simp, worked two horrible jobs, and overall had an awful year
Well, those times are over. Can only get better, right?
after the disaster that starfield was ive lost almost all hope in TES 6
Won't disappoint me. Actually I'll be pleasantly surprised when they...FINALLY release the thing. After these years and Bethesda's current state, I don't expect much. Well "micro" transactions I...expect.
I honestly don’t believe Bethesda is capable of making a good game anymore. My only hope for Elder Scrolls 6 is that it tanks the company
remeber.... Skyrim got a release for alexa....
If imma be real, Elder Scrolls 6 has been in the same length of years of development as Five Nights at Candy’s 4.
Fallout is going to have more time between mainline releases than Duke Nukem. Fallout 5 will also be fortunate if it even manages to be one hundredth as good as Duke Nukem Forever.
"Too old for Vaush to get in touch with"
DAAAMN
It won't disappoint me, because my expectations can't be lower
for me the civil war overhaul mod is the best example of how bad bethesda is
There is so much cut content that got completely abandoned and forgotten, and all those re-releases added absolute nothing
I'm just glad Drova came out and gave me an injection of that pure gothic nostalgia straight in the veins
After Starfield I am Never Spending Money on a Bethesda Game Again.
when ES6 Releases Just Go Fishing
