Thanks Laura! I used to do a lot more videos with model shots, I’ll work some into my full collection video (coming next Sunday!) Appreciate the feedback
I would wear that LV scarf and not worry about the pulls ... if it's around your neck and you're worried about jewelry pulling - don't wear a necklace that day - and wear rings that are smooth without stones. It's too beautiful to purchase and just look at. Enjoy it.
You hit the nail on the head for my issue with scarves. I have the LV shawl in a light pink and the medium weight that is too heavy for warm months in the desert but too thin for cold winters results in it barely being worn. In contrast, I bought a wool/cashmere blend scarf from Chanel recently in black and white that I wear multiple times a week.
No regrets here sometimes I love to just look at my bags they’re all beautiful 😍 no designer shoes though I wouldn’t pay the price for them I’d rather buy bags 😘
I LOVE your content but you sometimes seem so worried about using your lovely items. I agree, it is hard to know whether or not you will enjoy using something until you have it. Maybe consider selling a few of them and getting things that you can use and enjoy without worry! You deserve that! I would just use the LV shawl, it is already pulled so may as well go for it and enjoy. Bring the Louboutins to the cobbler and have thin red rubber soles put on them, otherwise sell if they are torture for your feet. Life is too short! I never use my speedy b either, not because of the vachetta (it can always be replaced) but I just don’t find it easy to use, organizer or not. I do regret buying it, but it isn’t the giant monogram like yours. The AM clutch is stunning but I also hate clutches, I would never use it but would keep as it is a piece of art. Get rid of that big, heavy LV wallet and get a smaller one you can enjoy every day.
Thanks Kathy! I’m going to try the shawl some more. Thanks for sharing - yes the speedy isn’t the easiest bag to use. Even though I don’t use my giant I’m not selling I love it. I do need to get my head around using my items more and not being as upset if they show signs of wear (or signs of love!) 💗💗💗
I basically wrote the same comment as yours, before I saw yours. I use all the things I buy. Otherwise I would not buy them! I don’t care if a bag gets a scratch, I have to live and move around!
It's so beneficial to try on different bag styles and sizes. I need to see how a crossbody looks worn on my body. I've seen people actually testing to see how well their wallet and essentials fit into a bag they are shopping for. Sometimes we just can't determine ahead if a bag will work for us-Is the bag comfortable for an extended time? Does the bag fit over a coat? When I started carrying eyeglasses with me everywhere I had to let a few bags go that would not accommodate them. Then the mistakes made when we admire a beautiful bag but it doesn't fit our style or lifestyle. I've had a few recent impulse online clothing purchases that were not my style, sticking to brands I know with consistent sizing for any future online buys.
Loved this video. Thanks! I owned a pair of Valentino Rockstud heels that killed my feet. When I wore them, I tiptoed around like a crippled ballerina. I looked fantabulous but my toes ached and the balls of my feet were on fire. I happily sold them and now stay away from designer heels-more money for designer handbags 😉
Thank you sooo much for sharing.. there are a couple of items in this video that I`d have bought, but a key point for me is: a bag should not be heavy! Really I cannot stand heavy bags and if I need to bring stuff with me I’d pick a tote and stuff it. Thank you so much for this wonderful and so useful video. Xoxo
Thank you for sharing. I own the LV shawl in greige and love using it. Hes it is delicate but it is meant to be used so a little bit of traces of use. It looks beautiful with a leather jacket of a all black outfit
Thank you for sharing! I was looking at purchasing the LV shawl and now I will not. I totally agree with the Christian Louboutin shoes, I have them in black, wore them once and they were so painful. I even 'broke' them in by wearing them around the house where there was carpet. One and done.
Owww sorry to hear you had pain too Carol. It’s really put me off wearing them again, spending hundreds on them and then walking back bare foot - not good! The shawls are really pretty but yes, I think I’m done with them. I’ll stick to low maintenance big chunky ones I think
That shawl though 😍 Honestly I sometimes feel like there is made a very big deal out of the vechetta not staining and getting wet. I only own one vechetta bag and it sat in my gloset for ages because I was afraid of using it. And when I one day just started using it - sun or rain… nothing happened. The patina is beautyful and even without a single stain. And Im not the cafeful type. I only own this luxury bag but it’s held up really well 🤩
I have a Chanel classic double flap and it mainly sits on the shelf. Most expensive purchase but least used of my bags. But it represents me reaching a certain point in my career so it has major sentimental value to me.
I totally get you! I also only own 1 Chanel, Black Jumbo classic flap. I have used it less than a dozen times in more than 2yrs. But I also won't get rid of it because it was a long term goal since I was a teenager, and purchased it for my 31st bday.
10:59 I’d use this as a clutch. If it can fit your mobile? All u need are cards 💳 I have a Balanciaga zippy purse which I hardly use for the same reason. But, I use it when on hols, restaurants, cinemas, etc - anywhere I don’t need a bag and it’s really useful 😊
Turn your LV long wallet into a wallet on chain with one of those new inserts that came out ( im not sure what the brand is but saw it somewhere in youtube)
I have the same speedy giant monogram and I feel the same like you! I think I used it twice, but I do like it so much and not planning to sell anytime soon🙂
My luxury regrets are: the mini Peekaboo and the Soho Disco because both lost their structure so badly, my medium Collège because the lambskin is shockingly delicate, any LV Epi leather because it’s too hard and stiff to give me that luxury feeling, my Prada army boots because they are SOOOOO heavy (although gorgeous). My most successful choices have been my two Pochette Metis (mono and reverse) because I wear them all the time and my Celine Nano Luggage, the chicest cat around and a brilliant travel bag. My Toy Loulous were also great value for money, so hard wearing. You win some, you lose some..
Love this insight! Thank you for sharing. You make some amazing points. I get what you mean about heavy - I have some LV Star Trail boots and they are t light weight. I’ve just ordered a LouLou (unboxing coming soon!) and I can’t wait - so that’s great to know you like yours 🙌🙌
I have an LV shawl in a beige color and although I was worried about stains and snags, I've actually used it a lot, but I do live in a warm weather climate area. I love it so much that I've decided to now get a black one for Christmas. I think I regret buying my first and so far only Chanel mini flap in a dark purple color. Although, it's really pretty and it does go with many of my fall and winter outfits, I would've preferred to have gotten it in my favorite colors, which are tans or beige. I got it last year, and it was the only color available aside from the black, which I didn't want (everyone has that and I dont really care for black bags). However, after seeing the price increases and how much harder it has gotten to get most of the Chanel bags, I'm not sure whether I really regret it since I do love the fact that I have a Chanel bag in my collection at all :)
My least used and regrets is the alma bb, it's annoying to use, it hard to access your items and it sits weird as a crossbody. I'm trying to sell it but it's taking a long time 😆 2nd was my versace robe. It snaps easy but I don't regret it I use it everyday watching UA-cam and drinking coffee
Thanks for sharing Owani. I like the Alma BB but you're right. I had a large one and found it hard to get into, constantly needing to put it down to do the zipper. I knew after that, that sadly I'd never buy another one.
I also don’t really love my Alma bb. I will keep it as it is a classic, and I can use it for less formal events as it is in black Epi, but I don’t like using it crossbody which is how I prefer to carry my bags and one of the main reasons I bought it. And I can never fit as much as everyone else I see online, they pull item after item out and I am lucky to get my essentials and a lipstick in there!
@@kathyn1343 wow it's very annoying, I only use my card case phone lipgloss sanitizer and keys but even using it as a crossbody it just wobbles all over the place and requires to hands to open it. I have it in damier it was a panic buy that was in my budget but it's a waste of money. Even.trying to sell it I was offered 500 dollars as if I'm desperate so I I'll just hang on to it until I can get the price I want. I've used it about 5 times in 2yrs 🤦😒
Owani, your comment was brilliantly timed for me, thank you so much. I kept deferring getting the Alma for the exact reasons you mention- it seems everyone loves this bag, but I’m a Metis gal through and through. I love an easy bag, I have other things to worry about than getting my hands all scratched up by zippers trying to get to my wallet 🙃
I love the Givenchy bucket bag, that’s my style! The large Chanel is just huge. I love that speedy with the jumbo monogram although I prefer the 25 size.
I regret buying some LV bags during lockdown. The Montaigne BB, the On my side PM, the Grand Palais and the Vanity PM. But I love your Speedy, I regret that I didnt‘t buy it 😂
thanks for sharing Susanne. That's interesting about the Montaigne, I always think that one is a little underrated. Vanity PM I have also been very tempted with but know myself well enough to know I won't use it so much, I just think it's very pretty. haha, yes I love the giant. Don't regret that oen but also don't use it.

Love the blouse! I actually own a Versace silk scarf which is quite classic but sadly the print is yellow on black and I do not like the yellow next to my hair of skin color.
My Vernis Bellevue Amarante GM. I only use it once a year because it's pretty delicate. I was using it every day and the SA told me it really wasn't meant for that. I was going to exchange it but it was discontinued & rather than get a refund I kept it since I do really like it.

Hi Steph, love your videos. Thanks for sharing them. I regret buying the toy Lou Lou and not the small size. I, like you, mostly wear crossbody and I thought that the toy would suit crossbody wear better but I’m sick of carrying my sunglasses around! What’s the best casual crossbody that is a little larger but not too expensive? I’m thinking of the Gucci Marmont camera bag. My lesson is try the bag on, although YSL is not a brand available in my city. ☹️

Hey Jasmin, yes I don't use mine much either. Maybe put some stuff in it and try to use it, see how you like it. If you don't use it I'd sell and buy something else.
@@Handbagholic thank you for the advice. You are 💯 right, I am going try to used it at least once or twice this month. It’s the Ebene so I am not afraid of damaging the bag, it’s just the styling and practicality I am having trouble using it.
Really fabulous points and I agree with you on every single one! Would love to know if you regret purchasing the Capucines bag itself (vs the clutch you're regretting) - I've been thinking about purchasing a Capucines leather bag. 🌺 Karen
I have a black LV shawl which I hardly use for the same reason. I have a couple of Gucci ones who are hard wearing and because they’re cheaper I’m not afraid of getting a pull or something. It’s really dumb😅😅
TFS Steph! I would try to trade or sell the large Chanel 19 for a smaller one. You have a lot of followers so maybe someone would want to swap? I say use the black chain bag and see if you like wearing it. If not, sell it. Amd it really isn’t so understated with that large chain. It is super pretty! If you really want to get rid of the LV scarf where would you be selling it? I may be interested. Have a great day!
The bag I regret even though I really like and don’t plan to sell is my LV Alma in the PM size. It’s too heavy to be hand held with even a few basics inside and looks awkward with a strap if I want to carry it on my shoulder. Have used it just 5-6 times.
Thanks for sharing Ekta, you’re not the first person to say the Alma. It’s a lovely bag but I also found with mine it was a pain to get into. I couldn’t easily open it up so I know what you mean/

@@Handbagholic good idea. It doesn't wear well. I've seen it on other luxury regret videos.
I feel the exact same way about the speedy! I love the bag and the look. But the opening is difficult to get things in and out of.
That’s the most beautiful Chanel bag I’ve seen. Stunning!
The Chanel 19? It is very pretty!
@@Handbagholic you said you find it too heavy but I think I’d power through. The tweed just looks so rich.

Try using apple guard on your vachetta pieces it works wonders.
Thanks Diana. I usually use Carbon pro, that’s a great product too I just prefer black leather. Less to worry about
@@Handbagholic oh I prefer black leather also. I love the way it looks. I recently bought the Horizon luggage trimmed in black.
Where is your top from😍?
thanks! It was from Reiss but they don't have this exact one anymore. They have some nice stock in though: rstyle.me/+Ey5UWziERbLuHg1ljsHTDg
Beautiful blouse. 😍
I like the lighter leather too
What are your thought on the Gucci Ophidia MM tote?
Yes I like the Gucci, you see less of them and it looks like a classic.
I have the Giant Monogram Speedy and she is in my closet. 30 bando is Huge on me...don't plan to sellz though
I would get rid of the LV Scarf. I don’t like high maintenance items
Yes I think I might. I really like the thick black Givenchy one. Simple, warm, less worry
Love the blouse
Thanks Sharon
We all have lockdown purchases we will soon find out wasn't a good idea once everything goes back to some normalcy. I foresee lots of regret videos.
Yes 100% agree
Please let us know if you decide to sell these items, love the scarf
I sometimes post over on Instagram when I do sell some things. I’m going to make some final decisions this week I think.
Have you sold the lv scarf?? I'd be interested in purchasing it. How much is it?
Hi Milka, I havn’t listed it yet. Ideally I’d be looking for a U.K. buyer - DM on Instagram @handbag_holic
Convert the wallet into a wallet on chain
It's a pitty to have such beautiful bag and not use it.
It’s a shame that the red wears away 👠
It really is :(
