The Blues Brothers are an American blues and soul revivalist band founded in 1978 by comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. Belushi and Aykroyd fronted the band, in character, respectively, as lead vocalist 'Joliet' Jake Blues and harmonica player/vocalist Elwood Blues, donning black suits with matching fedoras and sunglasses. The band was composed of well-known musicians,[l and debuted as the musical guest in a 1978 episode of Saturday Night Live, opening the show performing "Hey Bartender", and later "Soul Man".

Why couldn’t we go back to a time when everyone had a good time and everyone cared about everyone. In today’s world humanity has gone to the waist side. The blues brothers is just a glimpse of the good times back then. Good music along with good people in your lives was the way it was back then. Sadly missed.

Chicago raised.. The blues brothers was one of the first movies I had to watch over and over and over, Growing up in rockford right outside the city all the police chases were just so perfect and spot on coming from somebody who has seen some craziness out there. LONG LIVE JOHN BELUSHI! the music is so amazing! he was so talented, you do an awesome job keeping his memory alive brother!
