People want to get married every day and feel that they can't because of tough times. What makes this couple feel like they are so special? It's the entitlement for me. I'm so sick of rude and inconsiderate people. Who do you think you are to hold a wedding at a business without paying the owner to do so? You aren't buying anything at this business, you're using the space. PAY UP.
A marriage is based on trust, communication and ethics. This wedding "venue" hostage taking had none of these. This "union" will end up in a nasty divorce. Mark my words.
Good idea not to kick them out; anyone that would pull this kind of "free wedding" stunt would be equally crappy enough to try and spin it into some big social issue and harm the reputation of the business.
If you can afford a marriage license and officiant, just get married in your backyard, your home, or a public park (after checking to see if you need a permit). Have a Justice of the Peace marry you in a courthouse. There are options for cheap weddings.
I was at panera and there was a birthday party with little Caesar pizza. Workers said nothing, so I assumed they were in an agreement. Burbank IL was the location.
People pull this kind of crap all the time. For instance, a group of 4 takes up one of my bar tables for 30+ minutes during a busy lunch, all the while saying they weren't ready to order. Turns out they were doing a refinancing closing. They finish and leave without ordering.
I was very surprised by this story, then saw the video of what was doing it, then automatically was not surprised at all. These people think they own the world and think everything is owed to them just because. Like in their culture, they stole a bridal party from this business and hopefully are sued for payment.
So unfair of that bride. Free venue for her wedding. Ridiculous. People have become so entitled. She knew what she was doing as well as her guests.

Wow. Can you believe this. Rudeness is the new normal.
...have the entire wedding party arrested for trespassing and theft of services...

That’s a really classy idea for a free wedding. Super classy.

There are countless public parks and other areas they could have used - the storeowner will be well within her rights to sue.
They need to pay the owner. This isn't your house. 200.00??
What a joke.
She wanted a free venue. If you can’t afford your wedding don’t have one!

People are fucking ridiculous.
That is very rude
Cheap, low-value people would do something like this. Rest assured they'll live mediocre lives.
it would have been a happy ending if they had permission in an advance.
Or just paid the 500 bucks which is a steal for a wedding venue

The businesses was afraid of being called racist if they said anything.

They should have conducted their business meeting in a library
@@leslietrivette91 You're right. Any normal person would, but not entitled lawyer, apparently.

Absurd. Rude. Ridiculous…shame on this couple
Make her pay up! Take them to court!
Typical. Entitled. I'm not surprised. Are you?
Why would they not just go to a park?
