      Joshua Reindl No, the density of the air is lower than that of the water. Higher densities sink to the bottom (Think about it like they're heavier, so they get pulled to the bottom). When you drop the bag into the water, the air escapes upward, just like the bubbles when you breathe out underwater.

      FirstName LastName The likelihood of this happening is slim to none. There aren't pedophiles and hackers lurking around every corner. Lets not forget that they don't just blanket punish every party using one connection when CP is downloaded. They're going to show up, find out which local IP the download was directed to by your router, and then proceed to arrest him for it, not you.

    The toilet one : why not just adjust the level to which the tank fills ? Another trick is to turn the valve that feeds your tank so low that the meter cannot register it - I did that and boy did I save a lot of dough (it fills up just in time between your "businesses" too) :))

    That bill shows 9 CCF, which is about 6733 gallons of water. $219.07 divided by 6733 is $0.033 per gallon. Which means you're trying to save $0.99, on 30 gallons. Or... if that bill is for 3 months, 3 dollars.
    On the other hand, having insufficient water in the tank means that you'll be flushing twice several times a week to make things go down the drain that don't want to go down anymore. Which means, at BEST, you're going to ONE DOLLAR on a three month bill.
    You're much better off just not flushing the thing until you really need to. Short showers, no baths, less clothes washing, don't run water to warm before using faucet, etc. The usual advice that nobody ever follows because these things are a hassle...

    you really don't need the baking soda or dish soap, vinegar will clean, disinfect and nutralize oder just fine all by itself it's also amazing on glass and a great substitute for bleach if you want to disinfect and nutralize oder in your laundry without or distroying your colors or using hot hot water. you can also use vinegar as a substitute for fabreez, now I know what you're thinking and yes vinegar DOES stink but once you let it dry both the initial bad smell and the vinegar smell will be gone along with any germs

    Don't throw away your gum when it loses its flavor. Take a glass of water, and put a small amount of ordinary mint toothpaste and mix it into the water. Then, put your chewed peice of gum in the glass, and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Then take it out, and put it back in the wrapper after you let it dry. Repeat after you chew it again. Boom. Now one piece of gum will last you the rest of your life, and you never have to buy a toothbrush agian. Also, you can sell the remaining pieces of gum from the pack.

    • @desireedoubleyou
      @desireedoubleyou 7 років тому +1

      Xaeravoq I know this is hella old but the answer is no. The majority of batteries have a resistor on the end that stops the circuit from being complete, aka it will stop the power from flowing thru. Hence why a piece of metal is needed-- bcuz the metal conducts the power, making the circuit complete.

    That remote one was crazy. Don't just get up and change the channel. No, that would be too easy. Get up, go to the garage or basement, look for a battery sized bolt (good luck with that one) and then go back to your living room and put the bolt in the remote as a temporary fix. That is way too much work for something with the purpose of making you lazy. My compact fluorescents BUZZ like crazy. They produce a horribly ugly light with an irritating sound. I have returned to incandescent bulbs. I don't want to live in ugly light. It is a quality of life issue. If you decreased your electric bill by 40% you must not have a dishwasher, dryer, washing machine, hair dryer, electric heating, refrigerator, food processor, kitchen aid mixer, stove or toaster oven.

      +Strikemovie5 I have a $48.00 LED in my kitchen. I have never been happier with another light system. CFL's produce and ugly light and buzz. Regular incandescent bulbs waste energy, but produce a lovely light. LED lighting does all of it. It produces a good quality of light and does so at almost no cost at all. I love LED's.
