My favourite episode out of them all. It really put their relationship into perspective. The seriousness and emotional moments seemed like such a mature development from the past seasons.
They did this so perfectly. The first time I watched this episode the fez punch in the face was SOOO hilarious. Also when you realize that the angel is gone because he did his job. Just the right balance of a meaningful but also a funny episode. "We have breaking news.. im toasted!"
Watching this kinda made me think of life, of how precious it is and how every little thing counts. I don't see how anyone would erase their memories rather if they are good or bad. Everything you have went through is a lesson that makes you who you are today. Without memory what else do we have? Its a lesson that ive learned from this episode. I went through bad breakups in the past and i wanted to erase the time i spent went with them,but this episode made me think otherwise.
Memories like these are nice because they remind of us of a time when we were happier; perhaps why so many people nowadays wanna go back to the past and relive these moments we subconsciously took for granted. Nonetheless, experiences both positive and especially unpleasant/undesirable ones help us grow as individuals. I'd keep them too.
It really is better to have lost than to have never loved at all. I know, it’s all subjective . And, sometimes we get involved with people we would rather forget about. But, for those few exclusive relationships that were wholesome and meaningful that ended for one way or another. I would rather never forget about them over pretending the experience never happened. Because for that brief moment, my universe expanded thru the life of one person that I may have never met. I felt more alive with them that I did alone.
Hyde and Jackie were by far the best couple of the show. But Eric and Donna is what made the show, their relationship was the core of the show. Which why season 8 stunk so bad, Topher leaving the show damned it all to hell.
I loved this show! The cast I understood from when I used to be a young teen & Red & Kitty is a relationship that any older married couple knows the highs & lows & divisions & such that come from complications of marriage. If it weren't for laughter & sarcasm & matter of convenience & great songs - most marriages wouldn't last! Donna & Eric were such great characters of their antics & reminders of love & lust 😂 And this scene still tears me up - no matter how old I get. It truly is best to have loved & lost then not loved at all. To take away one second of pain & grief is to take a chance of erasing everything good that the pain & grief taught us. No - I will keep the pain & grief when it comes around. Because the beautiful memories and lessons of love gained with special experiences - only add to who it makes us become. And why change that - if - it means taking away the pain & grief. I cannot do that. I won't do that.

I hit rock bottom mentally but seeing she deleted herself from all my socials and thinks she’s responsible for some of my mental shit hurts so much fucking more. I just passed my 5th day of sobriety (been taking large amounts of painkillers to essentially numb my 🧠 out). I’ll reach out to her after I’ve hit days (February 3rd)

I came to this part in the series when I was going through a really painful breakup... man. But that was different, if I could have never met that man I don't care about any consequences I would choose to delete him from my life no matter how much I loved the asshole... not even the most amazing memories are worth keeping. On topic of the show though I just love how it's always hilarious, great characters and still manages to have really sad episodes like this one that hits you right in the feels and the relationship between Eric and Donna are such goals. It's a shame Jackie didn't end up with Hyde though.

I know. Somehow that always seemed like one of the most beautiful, emotional moments in the whole series. There really was no other moments like that, of flashbacks, so it just seemed so perfect. 💛
