Come to think of it, in the 90's "Final Fantasy" was the thing for great wonderous RPG adventures that just could play every tune right and hit you emotionally with perfection. But as time progressed, Square Enix began to concentrate more and more on the tech side of things and graphics and kinda forgot and lost this magic with the Final Fantasy franchise. I'm so glad that Monolith Soft stepped in and continued these magically enchanting and emotionally compelling adventures from Final Fantasy IX and onwards. And funny to think that Monolith Soft solely exists because they split off of Squaresoft themselves due to how dirty they have been handed with Xenogears. In the end I'm glad about this though, imagine a world where a perfect "Xenogears" exists exactly as Takahashi would have wanted it to make. We'd probably never have gotten the awesomeness that the Xenoblade Saga is. Really glad everything went exactly the way it did.
For sure… I can definitely see similar elements of FF7, FF8, and FF9 from the Xenoblade entries, which would have been a part of the initial Xenogears game that was supposed to be released as FF7.
This. Is. Beautiful!!!!! Every scene really fit the lyrics!! You are very talented and I love it so much! I hope one day you can make MAD "where we belong" too. Still, this is such a nice work!
Decided to check this a few months after the trilogy was over, immediately got the same feelings I had when playing these games. Thank you for reminding me why I love this series!
