Anybody else see Jason Segel as their fantasy dream man? lol. I know I don't personally know him, but I love the sides of him he's shown in public -- ability to make fun of himself, introspective, smart, appreciation for a simple small town life, creative, etc etc.
his ice cream story is funny. thats actually how my parents met but in a different way. My mom was serving my dad and she put a heart on the receipt. my dad has never seen it before and he thought she was flirting... really she did that to every receipt and he thought she liked him so he asked her out...the rest is history and here i am writing this comment haha
HAHA! It's like that guy who inspired Good Will Hunting, who solved 2 previously unsolved problems in Statistics, because he was late to class and thought the two equations were part of homework. They seemed harder than usual, but he pushed through and found solutions, then left them for grading by his professor, who upon verifying them ran to his dorm room to explain. When the guy a few years later was worrying about what to do for a thesis, his professor said "why are you fretting over this? Staple those solutions together and hand them over, that's your PhD thesis." Moral of the story: *It's all about confidence man* 😂😂 (Granted the guy was a genius and ended up a world famous mathematician... But still.)
I enjoyed his work on HIMYM, but this is the first time I’ve seen an interview with him. That story sounds like such a Marshall thing to do 😂 I’m glad to see he seems to be as sweet as the character he played.
For real though- Jason Segel in serious roles is such a smart choice. He's clearly talented and I feel brings innate depth to the moment (even when on screen solo).
I’ve seen Jason walking around Santa Barbara several times. I’ve never said anything out of respect for his privacy, but wish I could tell him thanks. He definitely seems to walk everywhere he goes and I wonder if he’s thinking over future scripts in his head? What a treasure this guy is. Always bringing us so much laughter
I wish therapists would tell you the ugly truth, but I think it depends on the therapist, your vulnerability, and the fact you need to take accountability for your actions. I asked my therapist, on our last session before she closed her practice, to tell me something she didn't feel like she could tell me in the last two years. She said that I tend to get stuck/analysis paralysis because I'm too much of a planner therefore, I get stuck not knowing the outcome. That little piece changed me forever. I make decisions and if I don't like the outcome, I make another decision.

Hope he does more Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen movies since they're good friends. Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall are classics. Shrinking looks promising. Having Harrison Ford in 2 TV shows is a good deal.

I think you go into that profession because you are genuinely interested in how the mind works and how to heal from traumatic experiences. Also helping people/ being of service is the best way to heal yourself.
