- The Among Us animated series just got its first look in a new background of The Skeld's cafeteria! Along with that, we have new information about who's working on the Among Us cartoon alongside Infinity Train creator Owen Dennis. What can we expect from this series?

I think Among Us’s popularity has stabilized rather than sank. The lobbies are still very active, just not flooded with literal children and trolls like it was before. It has definitely maintained its fandom ecosystem.

what are you talking about bro? My friends and I always encounter players who don't even know how to play the game. the amount of brain rot in a public lobby is astounding.

@@Zeron-mk1zx can confirm, and some bugs too, i was tp'd as imp in a certain lobby up to the top right vent when a door was closed. also one time everyone died immediately and sused the owner of the lobby but I think it was another guy because the other guy was out of the meeting room a bit and teleported back in lol

Honestly I’d see this really being a thing I’d watch. I also hate it when games are ruined by the internet and are considered “cringe”. This is such a good comeback for Among Us

Among us kind of been getting their comeback every few months.. their new map and new mode made the game a bit more popular... but of course like any other game, the player count went down again.

I think the "we're dead" banner is supposed to say "we're not dead" with the irony being the party is celebrating the crews survival. As seen by the blood, thats not going to stay that way for long.

@@Sebbiiboi Bro, I played the game for 3 years now. There is literally only about 5000-6000 concurrent players on Steam right now. If you add mobile players to there, it can't be any higher than 25-30k online players at ANY time. The game is very much dying off, and it's sad to see. Even I now have times when I don't touch the game for a good 2-3 weeks

I unironically harbor a ton of respect for Among Us for its genius premise, Flash-inspired art style, and iconic sound design.
I’m hyped for this show and I’m hoping with the relative simplicity of the Crewmate’s designs, that the animators are having a good work/life balance :)
Imagine if the first season is just one round slowly building up to who is the murderer, that would be a perfect way to make the game into a TV show
I hope the season is more focused on strategy and mystery and with that you said it would be perfect (:

It is quite rare that games receive a Cartoon. Among Us seems to have potential. I hope to see how they got into the space and how are the monsters created.

I don't care what anyone says about Among Us these days, I will 100% watch this. I only played it once and the overall idea of it is easy for anyone to grasp, so I'd love to see the fleshed out story they're giving the simple idea of "survive the impostor while doing your tasks" for a cartoon!
Not gonna lie I did not expect the show to look THIS GOOD! I’m not too into among us but the animation is smooth, it’s very loyal to its original source, it’s really good! Definitely looks like a watch to me!✨🔥
i believe the animations shown are from the hide n seek trailer for the game itself, not the show. a little misleading but the video is only referring to the background

I honestly think this show will do very well.
Among Us is in the same tier as Minecraft or Fortnite, AKA a game so popular that basically everyone knows it, so with that kind of recognition I expect the show to do wonders.
Fun fact: Minecraft is getting a live-action movie in 2025

I'm still shocked that, in spite of how big it's gotten, Among Us of all things is getting a cartoon, and one helmed by the creator of Infinity Train no less. I'm lowkey interested in seeing how it all goes, not gonna lie.

This is one of the few game-based shows that have a similar style to the games and its trailers! I havent played Among Us in over a year (that is if you dont count the VR game) but im definitely looking forward to this!

the art style in Among Us seems perfect for a cartoon adaptation, I never really played the game much during it's prime but it was enjoyable enough for me at the time, but an official cartoon for it actually sounds like a fun thing to watch and I look forward to seeing how it goes.
The only way they could possibly make a "Show" is if they make some kind of shorts series where its different every episode, that would be kinda funny, but cant believe the same guy Tom Jones, who worked with JG Quintel to make regular show is working on a *"haha funny amogus"* show XD

I unironically can't wait for this. Like, there are so many possibilities! Imagine a murder mystery which is also a mystery for the viewers! All the drama it would bring, it could even have some shipping to spice things up 😂.
