Great way to spend a day! Thanks for vicariously taking us along. The craft seems to be running nicely. You look more comfortable each time out. Have a great season. Still no word on mine.

When I was at my local dealer yesterday they had none in and no crates outside.
Looks like everyone is still waiting for shipments to show up

@@NigelHay Nigel, how far are you going on a tank of gas? What mode are you driving in most of the time? By the way, very interesting information on the bridge. Will look for that future video you had mentioned you will do on its history. Engineering on something like that is amazing.

@@donaldwest9103 I just filled up, clicked at 49 liters and a squeezed it to a total of 51.
So when the low fuel alarm went off I definitely had just over 20 liters left.
      No bad fuel rate.
About 150km in a strong current and winds.
90% I was in eco mode and full throttle.

While you were on the Niagara river you went south down the west river. To the east of grand island is the east river. The west is known to be more rough whereas the east river is known to be more calm. Great video!

I just moved to Burlington and I've been heading to Port Colborne on some weekends. Love it there. Congrats on the new Seadoo. I've been interested in getting one for a little while now and have been living vicariously through others' UA-cam videos.
How far do you normally get on one tank when touring/cruising with the 170? I'm thinking if I get one it'll be a 170 but with the GTI hull, either GTI SE 170 or Wake 170. Hope to be out there on the lakes next year!

Hi Aaron, I originally looked at the GTI 170 then went with GTX as I preferred the storage area right in front of me, that is a huge benefit.
On this particular trip that was around 150km, going up Welland river first and back was 36km and then the Niagara river to Point Abino was around 110km return.
I then also did half an hour on the bay where I live and the low fuel alarm went off (1/4 tank left)
Filled up this morning, 51 Litres.
Better than I expected, I was expecting 60.
Most of the travel was in eco mode at full speed 50kmh

@@NigelHay That's good to hear about the efficiency. I want to do some long touring and think that'll be perfect. I definitely like the front storage in the GTX over the GTI but I think the less expensive and larger amount of storage will fit me better. I'm planning on renting a GTX this summer, maybe my opinion will change. I'm looking at renting from Energy Powersports after hearing good things from you in your previous video. They have a GTX 130 pro (rental only unit apparently). Hopefully it all goes well and I have my own next season haha

      It's a Helly Hansen Smock.
For sailing. This is the cheaper one. It's very light, windproof and waterproof.
      I was completely dry.
When I get some more money I want the expensive smock which would be great in Fall conditions
