On my way home I met some dude walking his dogs (was about 11:45pm)... I had my earphones in and he gestured to his dog while saying something, I took my earphones out and said "sorry excuse me bud?" and he said "the dog, he wants to say hello to you" and his little staff xl pup came bopping wagging it's tail (and the other dog a lil french bulldog).
So I kneeled and said hey to the dogs and gave them a pet, then he says to me "can I tell you something?"... am like "yeah go ahead..."
He proceeds to tell me about some trouble he having with his "lady friend" back in his flat, refusing to leave and causing arguements etc and I said "yeah the best thing you can do is walk away and spend time out with the dogs, maybe do some laps along the canal". He agreed and then started to tell me he comes from North London I said "yeah I guessed because of the accent" (we're in Liverpool) and he says "it's cool living here, I've been in some nasty situations, stabbed and shot at but here there isn't no wigger shit or people trying to stab each other" (I laughed in my head) and I said "yeah if you're chill, it's cool around here"
He continued to walk with me for a minute talking about none of the negative shit really matters and I agree saying "yeah the negative that happens is what makes you into a good person" and then as we're parting ways (I was crossing the street, he was walking toward the canal) he asked my name and I gave it "Rob" and he said "my names mouse" and we shook hands and I wished him a good night, or a better one.
While am walking away he says to me, check out "Mouse Outfit Bring Me Down".
