I was a lifelong drinker moderate/heavy. Also Long distance running. Developed SVT and then afib at age 62. Ablation took care of it but I hypothesized my drinking probably had something to do with it! Long distance running also may have contributed

Very clever expt. Thanks. What happens 4 hours after injestion of alcohol? Is it the metabolites ...fermaldehyde etc. Does alcohol or its metabolites somehow initiate electrical pulses in the pulmanary veins? What about the endogenous alcohol our bodies make?
