- The Space-Time Smackdown expansion is here, and I wanted to learn all the new Pokemon and unlock some beautiful cards, so I opened 100+, new packs!

Giratina is the "3rd" legendary to Palkia and Dialga.
Curiously, all the art of Giratina this set shows him in his "Origin form" while Dialga and Palkia are in their "Altered forms".
This makes sense since the most "remembered" and nostalgic versions of those pokemon are the forms that were drawn in the art but I think this means that when we get Giratina ex he will be in his Altered form.

Fun video, always like seeing new fans react to Pokemon. Would love to see you look at the Themed Collections missions you've completed after a big opening next time - they show how a lot of Pokemon are related either by theme, lore, in-game location, or just card art.
I know there's a couple comments on Giratina already but it's definitely one of the most lore-heavy ones of this set - the 3rd counterpart to Dialga and Palkia with a shadow realm outside of time and space. It's also the rival/counterpart of the "god" Pokemon so it's essentially the devil. I'd bet it's going to be the central theme of the next miniset similar to how Mew was hinted at in the first set.
All the regis have that same pronunciation, just like your name.
46:48 Regigigas also sounds the same the same way you tried to pronounce it,I recommend just watching a clip from the hoopa movie to get a view on how he sounds like. I like it you might like it as well.

The 'Vespi' in Vespiquen comes from Vespa/Vespula, a genus name for hornets/yellowjackets respectively, which comes from the latin word for Wasp.
Funnily enough, Vespiquen is based on a bee (hence the honeycomb pattern) and Beedrill is based on a wasp, but the name origins in English are swapped. I think this is because the word for bee and wasp are both the same in Japanese (Hachi, ハチ), which makes sense as bees are technically a type of wasp (as are ants).
And yes I'm an entomologist.
Also bagworms are a kind of caterpillar that wrap themselves in bark or dirt. Males become moths and females stay as caterpillars (so actually only male burmy become Mothim, females become Wormadam). Look them up, they're pretty cool!
Genuinely surprised you haven't gotten a God Pack, but I guess we would've seen a short about it hehe. Somehow got mine on day one: two Crown Pikachu exs, an Immersive Pikachu ex, a 2-star Zapdos ex, and a Wigglytuff ex :D

Game sucks to play but opening packs and collecting is pretty fun timesink. I logged on and spent all my stashed resources and opened like 35 packs as f2p. Collected all the previous cards and I have about 100 out of 150 in this new collection.
