It's hard to comprehend how huge those solar flare ejections was
Are?

Or how fast they move
Whos on first

We owe everything to the Sun.
All hale the sun god Ra! Creator of earth, giver of all life, the bringer of light and powerful enough to take it all away...
...I am not religious btw, but the sun does seem to fit the standard requirements of a god.
Truly Britain's prime tabloid newspaper!
We owe everything to God, the denial of such is why the world is messed up.
I will show my appreciation to the sun by staring at it's glory for hours

Now this is NEWS
It's science nothing more than a educated guess
Not really
@@JIMMYUNKNOWN well celebrities isnt news
@@Phobos_Thanatos they are when they’re influencing the behaviour of millions of people, unfortunately. And that influence needs to be addressed, whether it’s good or bad.
It's actually the opposite of news. There is in fact nothing NEW at all about it. There is no new science or imagery here. Every time I click on a BBC video I'm reminded again why I should never bother anymore. Not only are the photos absolutely NOT "like never seen before" as falsely advertised in the title, but the video never even bothers to explain WHY the images look as unique as they do. He's using a "Quark" heated mica etalon based hydrogen alpha emission filter from Daystar to isolate the chromosphere and thereby image filaments, plage, and spicules within its structure. There, was that so hard? jfc 🙄
The sun looks like a ball of gold 🤩
That’s a great description of it!
Yeah, it’s not, it’s actually the brightest white you’ll ever see. The reason it always looks gold or yellow or orange or red is because they have to use filters to be able to see the details, without this filters we would only see white light.
@@benjimanlee sureeeee.... You are just saying that to keep all the gold to yourself.

There is literally a mega ball of fire in the sky that we are all floating around in a ridiculously large space that is filled with billions of other little balls of fire and rocky planets... and everyone is just walking around taking it for granted. Sometimes it just freaks me out and amazes me.

Amazing, the photos, the photographer, and the gorgeous sun. 🥰
It's amazing really what we take for granted. Our Sun, our Moon, our Earth with its water, oxygen, trees, our atmosphere which protects us. The beauiful Galaxies. So much going on around us and all giving us what we need to be alive. Though we may think we know everything and are really strong and mighty beings, we are in fact tiny creatures, and what we do know about what there is to discover about our Universe is still really next to nothing.
We completely clueless till we truly understand biology and how a simple grouping of atoms can result in a conscious thing. Everytime I see tiny insects like ants im in awe because it almost seems creating something alive shouldnt be too hard yet it is.
Convert proves the Qur'an is from GOD in 45 minutes
Look that up.
We also take jupiter for granted if it wasn't for jupiter we wouldn't still be alive its earth's protector.
How can most people appreciate it when they're just trying to profit off of it. I can't wait till humanity is gone
@@athleteexpert283ahh yes ,the story from the book that's just exist less than 2000 years ago rather than the sun that already existed more than 4 billions years..got to believe that made up book from your religion aye
This is what news is. Excellent. I love such discoveries
It's not news. People have been drawing things in space for hundreds of years. Now...powerful computers do it, and the digital renditions have alot of detail. Still just a drawing.
Love when normal private citizens present scientific images like this.... incredible images that are on the level of some million dollar observatories ran by individuals with better equipment and years of training.
Fantastic work.
Anyone with a $1000 digital telescope can draw pictures just like this
That's because these citizens show the actual thing, not the cgi you're used to
@@luis-sophus-8227 And you can tell that this one is real and others are cgi because...
@@ImieNazwiskoOK Because this is recorded by someone like us. Simple as that
@@luis-sophus-8227 So more detailed footage with way better equipment must be fake then? At what point does equipment become to good to be real?
Absolutely amazing work being achieved by this scientist 👏👏👏
Yes the scientists had to wait until the winter when the sun isnt so strong.

What did they achieve there, nothing is just imagination even myself i can take photos from the Sun thereafter i can Wright my own story,(God almighty is genius)

@@user-eg6xu3rs5t you cant take that kind of photo of the sun, it's more meticulous than operating a human being in the brain, now don't be so arrogant that you can do anything you see. and it is not "wright" it's "WRITE", you cant even spell a good english word and you think you are be better than us.
Stunning. 👏
Wow dude! Those were some awesome shots, and the ISS ones were fantastic.
Bravo!
¡Gracias, Eduardo Schaberger, por sus espectaculares fotos! Jamás he visto nada parecido. Saludos desde España.
Absolutely amazing work to be able to see the texture of the sunlight that is absolutely unreal
The Sun, a "main sequence" star, doesn't operate much differently than any other star that we know about. However, it is close enough for us to study as we wish. Owing to its immense size, all the images you see in this video are truly snapshots of patterned photons representing >quadrillions of nuclear fusion reactions contained by sheer gravity of an unearthly magnitude that can stagger the human mind. If videos were presented, it would look like the surface of the sun was "boiling". I might add that the photons that were captured in these images and those you observe every day as light are anywhere from 10,000 to 170,000 years old! Thats how long it takes for photons created in a fusion reaction deep within the Sun to reach the photosphere. Truly awesome!
I'm Stunned and Humbled at the same time... The Glory and Magnificence of the Sun - the Star that is our glorious life giving monster of Energy!!!!
Fantastic images...i admire his dedication and fascination about the sun. You can tell he's really passionate about it and enjoys what he's doing

Great job, Eduardo. Muchas gracias.
Saludos!!
I'm absolutely astonished. The sun looks almost like a round sponge and very tatty at that, with threads shooting out of it everywhere. And we owe our whole being to this ball.
Absolutely incredible
Thank you for your hardwork in providing us this clear picture. Amazing indeed 🎉😊

For it to exist at all seems incredible.
For it to exist for millions of years seems impossible.
It may seem impossible but the math has been done.

You can feel the heat from a cosmic object so unbelievable far away on your skin, on a sunny day

Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire! These are really stunning. Cheers.

Is it self-identifying?
Proton/proton fusion into deuterium accounts for 40% of the reactions by number, releasing 1.44 MeV of energy for each reaction: 10.4% of the Sun's total energy.
Deuterium/proton fusion into helium-3 accounts for 40% of the reactions by number, releasing 5.49 MeV of energy for each reaction: 39.5% of the Sun's total energy.
Helium-3/helium-3 fusion into helium-4 accounts for 17% of the reactions by number, releasing 12.86 MeV of energy for each reaction: 39.3% of the Sun's total energy.
And helium-3/helium-4 fusion into two helium-4s accounts for 3% of the reactions by number, releasing 19.99 MeV of energy for each reaction: 10.8% of the Sun's total energy.
”Stunning" is an understatement...
Amazing photographs, keep up the great work you do!!
Fun sun facts:
- The sun is 99.9% of the entire mass of the solar system! The remaining 0.1% mass is mostly comprised of Jupiter and Saturn.
- The Earth is like a _tiny_ pebble next to a 10-pin bowling ball compared to the sun
- The sun provides a cosmic ~173,000 terawatts _non-stop_ to the Earth with clean fusion power, yet all that power is only a tiny tiny amount of the sun's total power output
- All the _combined_ fissile and fossil fuel on Earth would be like a bucket in an ocean compared to the sun
Beautiful ❤
Amazing! Thank you for this video. Very interesting and educational.
I thinks it’s amazing that the sun is so far away from earth yet it still keeps us warm and can even burn our skin!
That never ceases to amaze me, too. Yet there is a variable star which at peak brightness is just under 8 million times more luminous than the Sun, a transient star which may be 255 million times more luminous than the Sun, and a quasar which is 500 trillion times more luminous than the Sun.
Who knew the sun was so fury and cuddly?
Things like this continue to amaze me, top stuff
Magnificent work

Smart of them to film the sun in the winter when its not so strong.
