Thank you for this tutorial. I spent the whole afternoon working on my own financial portfolio on google sheets. I tried listing down all my expenses and savings before, but I stopped because I don't want to be OC on my financial matters. I wanted to spend, save, and enjoy my money. Seize the day, right! But then, when I watched your videos, I realized that we really have to make our tracking of our finances easily so we won't be surprised of our expenses. (because I admit I also buy unnecessary things on impulse.) Yes, I have to spreadsheet everything because I don't want to be surprised anymore every time I received my earnings from my investments and savings. I am not good in numbers and accounting concepts, but with your step by step instruction for the automated finance system, I diligently followed your instructions and I appreciated how my finances are easily documented and monitored through this spreadsheet. Keep it up!
I've been doing a spreadsheet of my finances since I started working at the age of 20, but the main problem was that I'm having a hard time tracking my expenses. Thank God! I just landed on my first job and even if I haven't received my first salary yet, I'm already planning on how I would budget it. I've been tracking my expenses just because of this video alone way back in 2022 and I gotta say its really one of the best decisions I've made. The effect of being able to know where your daily expenses come can give you that subtle shift of mindset that you should hinder from spending way too much if you're a massive spender and it'll give you a shock at the end of the month of how much you've spent, And also with tracking your incomes which can give you motivation. And now, 2024, I am about to graduate from college. It helped me on my way to finding the answer to the question I always thought: what will I use that savings for. I would actually suggest to group your daily or monthly expenses into: 1. Fixed (usually for scheduled monthly payment if you have) 2. Variable/Adhoc expenses. Here you can easily see and hopefully control how much you are spending on unplanned or adhoc items. Also add Credit Card expenses or charges so you can also track if you are swiping your credit card too much already that you won't be able to fully pay your total amount due to avoid Finance charge.
Yes! This is what I do too. I even grouped my monthly expenses into two (first & second payroll cut-off cos I'm being paid bi-monthly) just so I know how much wiggle room I still have for each half of the month after all the fixed expenses have been deducted.

I’ve been budgeting since elementary but only at 20 I started to do it in a digital way. It’s more efficient! There’s a free spreadsheet on Google which I’m currently using however I realized I wanted to learn how to do it on my own. I was really lost and I didn’t track my money spending. I didn’t have any financial background and my parents are not really money-savvy people. it'll be mindblowing change for you. Because you dont have to carry it around, you can access anytime anywhere granted that you have internet connection, and it is always and forever be saved on your google account :)

Yes! This is what I do too. I even grouped my monthly expenses into two (first & second payroll cut-off cos I'm being paid bi-monthly) just so I know how much wiggle room I still have for each half of the month after all the fixed expenses have been deducted.
I started to get dizzy around 7:20 but after a couple hundred replays I got it. Thank you so much !

Wow this is soooooo helpful! I've been trying to use Excel to track my expenses last year but I couldn't commit because it's a little hassle (I don't have any clue about the formulas) so I put everything manually. I’ve been budgeting since elementary but only at 20 I started to do it in a digital way. It’s more efficient! There’s a free spreadsheet on Google which I’m currently using however I realized I wanted to learn how to do it on my own. I would search the specific stuff then watch it on yt one by one but you explained most of the things I was looking for in just ONE VIDEO.. THANK YOU SO MUCHH❤️❤️❤️

This was very helpful! I always have had trouble tracking my finances, I tried but the way I setup my spreadsheets were inaccurate so I wasn't motivated to keep up with it, but I setup my spreadsheet like this and it's been super easy to balance my accounts now, thanks so much!

Thank you so much! It was really complicated at first but with the help of your template and listening tou your video step by step, I'm now able to customize per categories. I hope this finance strategy will help me monitor my money. I'll be using it for the first month, and hopefully continues until the end of the year.

I was really lost and I didn’t track my money spending. I didn’t have any financial background and my parents are not really money-savvy people. it'll be mindblowing change for you. Because you dont have to carry it around, you can access anytime anywhere granted that you have internet connection, and it is always and forever be saved on your google account :)

Nice way to keep my finances in one picture. Easy to check in one glance. Thanks for this. I will do this now. I used to pen and paper in tracking my finances so that in case I am out not using my laptop still tracked my expenses and savings.
