here's my theory about this song : the protagonist thinks she is asleep and dreaming while being ill, but actually, she's already dead. she says the moon is here : it can be a metaphore to say that if birth is the morning of our life, night is our death. it can also represent the fact that her soul rejoins the sky, and she can more and more clearly see the moon. during her "dream" she hears a voice saying that she cannot hold the stars or rise to the moon because she has no arms and legs, and that she can't look at the sky or utter dream because she has no eyes and voice. some of you will think it represents handicap, but I clearly think she's dead, and it's a way to tell her that she cannot use her legs, arms, voice, and eyes anymore, because she says "I will not arrive", which can be understand by the fact she understood she's dead. "I will not arrive" can be synonym of "I won't go back" or even "I won't wake up from this dream", in the context. the title : "prescription" can be a medicine, or something to heal disease. "moon prescription" can mean that the oly way to cure this girl was to let her die, to let her reach the night of her life, to end her pain.
