The story was OK for the most part. I think what would've made the final moments more impactful is if it was revealed that the Commander was fated to die once returned to the G universe.
My take: The ending with Maxwell was the "safe" ending. All right in and of itself, but no twists to make it more interesting. They could have done any of the following. 1. Have Code Maxwell be a prior version of Juno and the Commander. Past Juno and Commander went insane seeing all the death and suffering in each of the Gundam universes and decided to conquer them all, forcing a peace. Juno can be the programmer and the Commander's skills can go into the MA. They brought in present Juno and Commander to help with completing the MA, knowing full well their own potential. 2. Do an Avengers Endgame where programs of many many Gundam heroes (and villains) join in to help with the final battle after having defeated the MA in their own respective worlds. The heroes and villains, after having witnessed the destruction wrought by Maxwell, decide to make peace and join forces, thus creating the peace that Maxwell wanted so badly. 1+2: Why not both at the same time? 1+2+EX: Have this be past Juno and Commander's plan all along. They had faith that whatever MA they built, the heroes and villains would band together to destroy it, then come to save present Juno and Commander, thus creating the peace they wanted.
that is my favorite mission in the whole game and just enjoy going there sometimes just to let off some steam and dunk on a gundam and get a 100 hit streak
That's a different ending from what I got from fight gundam latrine for final time the ending I got had a secret cutscene that involves the commanders black mobile suit
@@theothermc One of the UA-camrs finished this game, but he didn't get the same ending cutscene as you did, even on Normal. All he ever got is the one where Code:Maxwells disappears, compared to the one you got where you finished Code:Maxwells off.
@@o.h.x-9062 we actually tested this a bit. There’s a DMC-like damage threshold. If you don’t go hard enough on the boss before the time limit you get a worse ending. Tldr skill issue : ^ )
The Ravens, Strayed, Allmind, and especially Nineball would have fun annihilating Maxwells. Actually, just the Ravens would be enough. They're just the right amount of unhinged to destroy something 40 times their size.
@@theothermc So that's the extra help lol I just beat the mission and was wondering if there was something the devs gave us to help meet the threshold considering they took away the hud (which I am a fan of. Definitely a fun finale.)
This is one of the most prefect battles for a Gundam game. A Gundam being taken down by a cannon fodder mecha
I love how Timeless Universe (Battle Alliance's opening theme) plays in the background during the battle. Best final battle ever.

Interesting take!

Ik this is super late but i think he was idk if your character would have thought to geab the 2nd gun if he hadn't in his final battle with maxwell

And for once, one glorious time, a GM got a win!

18:39 how to get triple chainbreakered [enemy's pov edition]
Is this the true ending cutscene? Because in that other ending cutscene, Code:Maxwells just disappears.
Did you finish on Normal or Easy?

So this is the admin system sakura and hermes talked about?
The final boss is an Armored Core?
KINDA

Wait, do you pretty much have infinite gauge? :O
For that battle. Makes it easier to hit the damage threshold for the true ending
