Some improvements I'd suggest: -fiercer wind effects; I'd recommend using air hose sprayers and fog effects to achieve this -mote structure damage; have more small pieces of the walls ripped off and/or punctured, showing more of the storm outside and reinforcing the illusion that the boathouse is veing torn apart. -better waves; the waves onside the boathouse need to match those shown outside. -storm surge ship; the ship crashing into the boathouse needs to be heralded by some sort of storm surge, tidal wave, or a sudden, dramatic surge in the current, something to suggest that this big ship has been ripped from it's moorings and swept into this structure on a wave; it gives the scene a greater sense of violence, rather than just a large prop gliding in. This could be achieved the same way as a water park wave pool: backstage water tanks that are suddenly dumped on the left side of the stage prior to the ship crashing in. Better yet, prior to that, have a large drain open up underwater on the left side to better simulate a tidal wave, so the water on set seems to suddenly flow towards the left at first.
Lifetime memory. This is not to seeing...it's all about feel and experience. One will never understand the sound feel and sensation until he/she own experiences
SkullCowboy PB sad, because US used to be about this, about bringing movies/scenes into real life for the people to see. They should keep making rides and all that, but also keep/make some of these shows. Like the Earthquake, Twister, Jaws, Waterworld, etc.
Lousy. So much potential but everything was so slow it was wholly implausible. Twister was fab! Such as shame it’s been replaced by yet another load of 3D screens.
Sweet Chi It’s two brothers who travel the world. They’re mostly based in Southern California, but often make long-haul trips to record videos like the one you just watched.
This is nothing like being in real hurricane and is more reminiscent of old action movies with slow moving hydraulics and action sound effects that do not match the environment. You see cheesy crap like this at disneyland, Knotts berry farm and Universal studios back in 1984.
As someone who experienced multiple hurricanes in their lifetime. This is not realistic at all X'D. Windows would not be removed like that with a hurricane. And really the worst thing a hurricane could possibly do is flooding and water damage... Trees/branches falling over. Power going out.... Yeah, this is sorta laughable.

i went here since 2019 and still my favourite attraction
When I was a child this was terrifying.
Same

They really need to put this in Florida.
They already had Twister there until they replaced it. I think these types of shows aren't coming back to the Florida park for awhile.
Yes! and also LA !

@@Seroxm13 Well Earthquake, and Waterworld are still in Hollywood.
This is cool yet somehow not as cool as twister ride it out
SneakerTifosi 9
Agreed. I hate that it’s a Jimmy Fallon ride now in Orlando. It’s not even a good ride. The audacity!
EXACTLY TWISTER IS BETTER
WOW 😯 this is soooo cool. Very interesting to see what they did with this attraction

Surprised they haven't replaced every practical effect with a giant screen and projections.
Unless you count the screen of New York during the hurricane.
Wow that was awsome!
You should put a VR version of this!
Nice flames
Did you know that I was All Letters?
Good old school fun.
Remember going here as a kid its been almost 7 years
Holy Cow.... The window is blown away at 2:03
Waw amazing
Who runs this channel is it one person going to each park or multiple people coming together to film the rides?

@@DancerDude this is what my wife and I are trying to do with our new channel
That was really bad...Twister was waaaaaay better than this.
This is a hurricane not a tornado right
Great video! Are you going to visit the new Phantom Manor anytime soon?

Hurricane Dorian tomorrow here in Florida.
Tbh its scarier in person 😅
Universal should be replacing rides at Florida with stuff like this, not crappy screen based rides.
Let’s have video get to 1,000 views :)
The fire that was supposed to be in the water near the audience didn’t trigger. Probably broken
Looks like a giant kid playing with legos, more than an earthquake.
Hurricane Isabelle was a lot scarier than this

No huge water splashes?
lanceflx63 there is!! Was just there last week. We were at the 2nd row and was splashed with water. The video didn’t do justice on how amazing it was.
@@mrylsenvlgs yep, I went there last year, and they splashed us a little
Very cool again, but you've done this video before
If it was smoother it would be perfect...the pacing needs work.
Lol I wanted to see everything reset
Makes me miss the twister ride. It’s been replaced with the worlds stupidest ride. The fast and the furious 🤦🏻♀️
I dont know about this. Its just ok
すげー
That was cheesy. I'm surprised that it was in English.
👍🏿🏰💖
Cheesy, slow and plodding...
I didn't like it. Twister was better than that
that’s f*cking terrifying
Underwhelming
Meh.
Whao it's so... cheap..
Boooo 👎
