Thanks for watching! Not a silly question - paint pen is easier to “erase” before it has dried, just use some water and wipe it off. After it has dried, it can probably be gently scrubbed off with a wet sponge (as dry acrylic paint underneath is pretty durable) but you may still end up with some paint pen marks left behind. You can always touch up / cover those marks with acrylic though.
lots of great info! One thing I was wanting to know is say you've done your painting and added your paint pen but then you want to maybe add a wash or some more paint. I am assuming the paint pen will smear based on your comments about adding varnish. Have you ever coated your painting with matte medium and then painted on it some more?
You can either seal paint pen with water-based spray varnish, or add an extra coat of matte medium on top of your paint pen by rolling it on with a roller - and then do your wash / paint additions on top of that. Gently using a roller shouldn’t disturb the paint pen. (But, use a high density roller, otherwise it tends to leave spongy texture. )
Apologies that UA-cam didn't show me your question earlier! Are you on my email list by chance? I just did a small live-streamed workshop and have quite a bit more coming this year! Make sure you're signed up to receive my updates, so that you'll get all the info!

Thank you for a great lesson! Might be a silly question but can you erase the paint pen, if need be, and not affect the acrylic paint underneath?

Wonderful presentation! I’d like to know if you refill your Posca paint pens and how you do it. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! I don’t refill my Posca pens.
Please do create a video of solvent based pens - thanks!
Noted - thanks for the input! 👍🏼
Are you still painting and making tutorials? Is there another place where you have more tutorials? Do you have more than two courses?
