I just finished a restoration and build of an early '80s Picchio Special with 11-speed Campy, Super Record controllers and rear derailleur, with silver Athena front derailleur, brakes and crankset. Built up a set of wheels using 9-speed Record Titanium hubs and polished silver H Plus Sons Archetype rims, 25mm Conti GP5000 tires. I have used the 11-speed Athena components of two other builds, an '89 Pinarello Montello and '91 Zullo. The 11-speed Athena not only looks good but it functions almost as smoothly as Super Record. Thanks for the tip on setting up the Delta brake calipers. I'm going to try this technique on my Dura-Ace AX brakes as well!

Looks better now. I hope at some time the trend will go back to silver components. Or at least offer both... but I don't see that coming
Really needs a 7410 groupset to be right. Added bonus would be brakes that actually work!
Absolutely what all the ' cognocenti " have done in the past in Bristol to restomod their steel Pinarellos Colnagos and Tomasinis. Good choice.
