Another great ski to consider for this type of comparison would be the Blizzard Rustler 9. It really would excellent in the conditions that you tested on the day. It’s has been a great ski for those type of conditions at Alta, UT.
Went with ELAN Ripstick Black , with soloman shifts13. But I'd already made the decision before saw this , the line blade might of made the list. Return to Sender , was hard-core in my day just started up again. 5'10 tried some used black crow corvus freebird, 183 , smashed skied moguls black diamonds 1st 5 days in 30yrs was starting to feel fluid on the last days . What's funny is those are wide and there wasn't much powder but eh I was skiing switch in 80s , and pulling front flips on 207cm.
Too many ski choices. Trying to decide line blade versus dipstick 96. 50:50 split between east and west. I love to turn. And love the fresh snow on edge of trials or trees. Black diamonds with occasional double blacks. Slowing down because of age and too many visits to Mt orthopedic surgeon. Family will have to carry me off when I am in my 80s. Ha ha. Steep and deep to all. Any advise on blade vs ripstick 96.

Not sure if you’re still looking but the ripstick black edition would solve a lot of the problems these guys had so maybe look into those
