This honestly needed to happen. He NEVER would have gone to prisoner. And even if he somehow was convicted, he would have had the privilege of having an ankle monitor at home or something. Dying was the only way for Chuck to be free. It just sucks he will always have that visual, but also, if he had only heard he had died without seeing it, who’s to say it wasn’t another fabrication like the last? It sucks because he’ll be scarred and haunted but he needed to see him die.
