Thank you MDawg, i just play this game for 2 days ago. And i really love how you to explain about this game compare to many videos out there. It's very helpfull for me. Love from Indonesia
I've watched about 8 different people making RF4 videos and guides, and this guy is by far the best one. Some of these youtubers are sport fishers and know a lot about fishing, but it doesn't necessarily always translate to being a gamer, and they are usually slow and fiddle with their play. I actually saw one guy explaining something at mosquito, while almost dying of hunger throughout the video. Then some of these youtubers are gamers and are quick to learn how to play, but without any knowledge of fishing. They can be less annoying to watch, but no-one really match the understanding of fishing. Except for this guy. I don't know if you're a sport fisher yourself, MDawg, or if you've just played enough to learn all the details. But no other RF4 youtuber compares. When-ever there's something I don't understand, the best place to come is MDawg. So I'd just like to say thank you, from the bottom of my pond.
Wow! I am humbled by your kind words of encouragement. To answer your question, I am defnitely not a sport fisher. Casual real life fisher at best but I do enjoy going out with my kids on occasion. I have really enjoyed putting many of these videos together and could not have done it without constant feedback and instruction from many different members of the RF4 community. There is obviously a lot I still don't know or understand but I do appreciate the opportunity to share the few lessons I do come by while out fishing in this fun game. Cheers and thanks again!
Regarding the broken reels you mentioned, I've noticed the starter kits they sell at the store have reels that can't take as much of a load as the rod and line they give you. I broke my reel twice really quickly when i got my first feeder a few days ago. I replaced it with the lacerti and it's not a problem any more. It seems odd that they would give clueless noobs like me a kit that's going to break more easily though.
