Yeah it's a horrible terrifying thought to imagine having a couple of those grab you and eat you alive which is what would happen. They'd rip bits off while you're screaming and having your insides, intestines and stuff pulled out while you're still conscious and can see whats going on. Thats a crazy way to die, I can't think of any other animal attacks that would be worse than that.

I've watched a lot of Komodo dragon videos. I decided to skip this one 40 seconds into it because there were letters in the middle of the screen blocking a lot of the view. I understand the concern over piracy, but ruining an otherwise good video because of fear is a little too much for me to bear. Better luck next time.
These are very dangerous animals, park rangers of course have the skills and knowledge to know how to handle these beasts.

Just how big is their stomach? The juvenile looked to be half or one third smaller than the adult, yet the adult ate all of the juvenile easily at one go.

Have you ever noticed how, after a Komodo dragon eats an animal whole, in one gulp, the skin around the whole belly area sort of expands a bit and the belly hangs a bit closer to the ground? - obviously admitting the animal into the belly, sometimes still crying or screaming, muffled from being buried deep inside the lizard. Sometimes you can actually see how it drops a little into the stomach - heavy enough to be visibly subject to gravity. And you can see how wrinkles in the skin around the belly smooth out as the skin expands.
Obviously there must be a limit to how much it can expand, but it seems to be able to stretch to admit surprisingly large prey.
They are repellent and disgusting, but somehow quite fascinating - essentially mobile, expandable bags with legs, claws, and teeth.
