Honestly the best part of this is knowing the side information that Billie is scared of water and did this anyway.

By the way not only did she write the song she also directed the music video. She said on a interview water was one of her biggest fear and was terrified of drowning so she decided to face it in the making of the video and try to overcome this fear (which she did, never used body doubles she did everything herself)

Billie is quite comfortable using swear words, and has been for several years now. I loved that, as a teen, her mom would accompany her to all her shows and interviews (during each of which, Billie dropped several curse words,) and her mom never seemed to have an issue with it. She just let Billie express herself, and showed her an enormous amount of love when the interviews concluded.
She's an amazing person, with amazing talent, and an amazing family.
I'm not sure if you guys know this, but her brother Finneas has excellent solo music. His voice is just as phenomenal as hers.
Wonderful song, and if you watch the Documentary The Worlds A Little Blurry, you see the music being made but also the relationship this is about. She was so young and in love, and he really messed up all the times she asked him to be there for her. Would love for you to do some live in concert stuff of her, it's so big and she is energy and emotion from start to finish

It really was! I saw her in New Orleans and the whole audience was screaming at the top of their lungs. My 22 year old daughter was laughing at me, but she said she loveed seeing me so happy at a concert! 😅I know great talent!
You should check her live performance(s) of this song it's so powerful to see thousands and thousands of people all ages, genres, sexual orientation all screaming these lyrics! Is like a collective therapy moment.

I recommend three more songs in this order. First song you should see me in a crown second song, everything I wanted and third song NDA you will love all three. Remember Billie does not use a green screen. Everything you see her do she actually does. In the song your power if you would like to do it which has very powerful lyrics. She uses a boa constrictor that almost cut off her circulation during the making of the video. As I said, Billie Eilish is not scared to do anything. She will not use a green screen at all period. What is even more amazing about her is she directs all of her videos herself.

I love the juxtaposition of this song. It has such an upbeat tempo/feel, but the lyrics are dark.
This song hits so, SO close to home for me. There's so much raw pain and frustration and exhaustion in it and a lot of us who've been in a situation like this with a family member/friend/significant other that put us through hell can't help responding. Fantastic reaction, thanks guys. I have a metal/punk/indie rock background but Billie Eilish is one of the greatest pure talents I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love her. If I may make a couple of recommendations, her live cover of Michael Jackson’s “Bad” for Triple J Like a Version when she had just turned 16, and the music video for “Xanny”. Both stunning pieces.

I saw her live in concert in the summer of 2022 in London. The whole concert was just so good! The whole atmosphere was phenomenal. But imagine 20‘000 people screaming „YOU MADE ME HATE THIS CITY“ together ! Almost makes me cry again everytime I hear this song

Her songs make me feel things to my core. I am a lover of music that extract emotions, regardless of the genre (though I do have preferences there of course), but she is on almost all of my playlists. I am so excited you are doing her. I think you need to dig deeper into some Demi Lovato songs too, not her early pop stuff, but when she clearly started writing for her own life, and not disney. "DEAD FRIENDS" by her especially, I bawled. If you continue along the Billie saga, I highly recommend "No Time to Die", it was for the James Bond movie, but it just hits the feels.
All i can says is listen 👂 too her entire resume front to back it is a true story her story but totally relatable and just amazing and powerful she is an amazing artist and just want more

It reminds me of in the movie inception the sound coming out of the old radio, or on the movie ghost ship before adema starts playing orr mudvayne not falling. That movie had a dope soundtrack.
She and Phinneas did this at the Grammys. It was EPIC. The rawness of the song ending is brilliant and painful all at once.
The build up to the second half of the song is literally perfection to be... gives me chills & her voice is so beautiful & rare! To me she's the only pop artist out there that compares to Taylor Swift when it comes to writing & pure talent. That's a huge compliment coming from a die hard Swiftie. They're so different but the most alike in that way to me. I absolutely love Billie! I see a younger, more courageous version of me in her.
