- Today I wanted to teach you guys 10+ graffiti tips that you can implement today in your work that will help new graffiti artists get better. some of these tips are a little more advanced and some are super basic.

I was stopped at a light in Columbia, MD and a box truck with a Philadelphia, PA address on the door had a beautiful BOWZR on the side that you could tell had been there awhile. My phone was dead so I couldn’t snap a pic but I googled him when I got home and ended up here. I see in the comments that he recently passed and my condolences go out to everyone touched. The fact that I (not a graffiti artist) felt compelled to look him up after seeing his piece says a lot. Art transcends. ❤️🎨

Bowzer was a day one friend and a true friend. He was always there for me when I going through something bad. He taught me a lot. RIP Brother. You'll always be missed.

The biggest like helping hit that i always look back at as a game changer was taking calligraphy back in high school... id legit say if ur a beginner and u find urself asking other's "how do I get style" or basically anything besides can control just take a calligraphy class... if ur seriously trying to learn about letter structure and flow thats the quickest way to get a firm understanding on the why and how when it comes to making letters pleasing to the eye

I think It would be fun and interesting if u made a video on the hardest names and letter combinations with the usual critiques of experienceed artists. It should give inspiration or a bit of help to those who struggling with certain names or letter combos. I love and hate my name I write silent but I really hate the i and l they'r a difficult challenge for me with. The i is hard to stylize, the l creats too much negative space between E. And both letters are very similar.

The green and purple piece is noice. I think I see it as a letters that have been ‘strikethrough’, to take the term of computer typing software such as Word, but not completely as you only need the illusion of it-the O, W and the R got chopped. Everything well-balanced.

Yet another A grade video! Always look forward to seeing them! One thing I'd love pointers on? How the f do I find confidence? Am I over thinking everything? Painted a few times but tend to stick to the black book, had one "friend" say nahh that's the wrong way to do it... That kinda kills my confidence and love for it.. I wanna only put up quality stuff, not just for the hell of it! Also, handstyle for tags? I've filled couple of books and can't find a style I'm comfortable with

Yes I get you. A really good example he has a variety of styles seems to me to do everything tags pieces throw ups all at a good standard in London UK I would chose a writer called lone to represent have a Google if you want he's wicked. I think he's in atg
You neglected to mention that the "W" is much wider than the other letters in the first piece you mentioned. Straight letter with the grass blocking g the bottom. Keep it simple, practice the basics.
Really love this person's graffiti! But is it Bowzer or Bowzr? He spells it in different ways in the video. Minor thing, but I do want to know if he settled on one.
People often times alter their name just for fun and to mix things up is all. For example, my mentor uses Demerock , demer, dem, DR.
I use grim, grim one, or DR. Grim. It's just to play around with different letters so it's not so boring.

there's no controversy, I hit up Shoe privately in DM, told him he couldn't disprove me being in the crew and his wild claims were not based in anything and he never responded. Never felt the need to prove i was in the crew because to be frank, everyone making a fuss cares more about the topic than i ever cared about it. On top of that, the point of the video is how useless it is to be in those crews because you're just a cog in the wheel the other members don't care or know about and this point was proven when a small few said i wasnt in the crew. Never wanted to be in the crew, never wanted to put it up, never did put it up, i was put down by some random TKO member at an event we were running at the shop who knew demer (who knew TKO members and the leader) likely only put me down to get favoritism with the shop or something and only I spoke about it TWICE in over 10 years. Idk but that's the farthest thing from clout chasing if you ask me.
Z are hard but when mastered they look so damn good
I actually have trouble with normal letter S's. I write SURE and the R to E segment especially gives me a hard time. Any advice?
I say remember there is a gap between the back of the e and the r
As in it can over lap and make a triangle when simple

no one really cares tbh, if you think of something that might be even a little sentimental that you like, use that
you've left over 10 comments all asking the same question. you're over thinking the name. its not that serious, and once again, you'll likely change it in a few years when you're no longer a toy as most people do exactly that. pick something, and go with it. learn then once you do you will be in a better place to pick something more permanent.

In all seriousness, my issue with tagging is simply reading it. At the start all I read was the "BO" and thats it.
The more you’re exposed to it the more you’ll be able to read. Look a pieces or tags in your area or online

He had a zest for life not many others have. He got me off my bum shit and back chasing life by showin me how cool shit can be.
He was definitely one of a kind. I am glad I held onto some paintings of his he was gonna throw away before he moved

I was wondering if there would be anything that you think you would be able to change a little bit in future videos to really put us all in that zone and just trigger the vibes just a little bit more? I mean many do, I do now days. Many of the walls I show on the channel are legal walls as well, not all of them but a good number. Maybe you can find enjoyment in those works, the more legal stuff?
your really great at explaining but you lowkey dont teach anything, you just tell us to go more simple lol
I mean I have a full playlist of videos with over 20 tutorials that do nothing other than teach. This video while it's not a tutorial, I teach plenty of techniques and break down the science of tons of things. Those who dont learn from this video are either so advanced to where they know this stuff or they're the ones who need to keep it simple and are adding tons too much style that keeps them from learning. Keep it simple is the first step most people dont take and you cant get any better until you do that. Now I dont mean this as an insult truly, but judging by your comment downplaying the most important advice " keep it simple" I'm comfortable saying you're likely one of those people adding too much style who doesn't know the basics or understand the science. If you weren't then youd know how valuable that tip was and you wouldnt downplay it.
