Wow just seeing this out of the box ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

I have the last trolling book produced and the app! Couldn’t possibly think about trolling without it. Takes away all the time of going shallow to see when I touch bottom and loosing crankbaits.

The precision trolling books have been an essential part of my success trolling. After seeing the effort, time and money spent to gather accurate information clearly explains and justifies the cost of all the precision trolling books.

Just wanted to say thanks for all work you have done. I purchased a lifetime of the app. I feel like I'm fishing naked if I don't have my phone and and pulling cranks that day

Don't forget to calibrate your line counters. If there not that info won't even be close. It will show your running a certain depth at a certain speed but you can be off 20 feet ether way if you don't calibrate your line counters.

    Great video!
general question. trolling for lake trout using spoons.
Will lead core(17lb) get my 3/4oz spoons much deeper than 16 lb. braid line? Typically trolling 100-150 feet behind boat.
Based on the line diameter difference and friction, probably not much difference, I am guessing.

Do you guys have plans to add a 50+3, 50+4, etc?? And add different speeds?

Anyone know what lake this is? it look like Otsego Lake in Gaylord. Right next to Jays sporting goods....its a great walleye lake, 1 of 2 inland lakes in Michigan with Sturgeon population. Looks like theyre right out my front door. West side of the lake south of the county park...

Basic math would suggest that measuring the distance of line you let out by the number of times it goes back and fourth on your reel isn't quite right.... it changes every time your reel turns. But it can probably get you close enough.

Measuring lead length by counting how many times the line passes back and forth across the reel spool is something that anglers call "counting bars" and is a common yet crude method for monitoring lead lengths. A better option is to use a calibrated line counter reel and or metered fishing line.

gotcha makes sense, another way i have done it, also crude haha, is puting bobber stops at certain points on my line, works but a little ghetto lol. Good Fishing!

How does speed effect a neutral buoyancy lure? In other words a lure that suspends at rest.

Wonderful that they do this but I wish you would start doing it with some heavier line the 10 pound I lost so much money and Lewers because the 10 pound has no strength why don’t they use your baseline is 15 pound

You did not say anything about calibrating your line counter reel. If you don't that book don't mean anything. Your lure won't be where it says. Be sure to zero out your reels.
