Same here. Last week I prepared for some high winds here in NC, but nothing happened. There were times when a storm came "out of nowhere" and I wasn't prepared. So I'd rather be safe than sorry, too.
Same here, but I'm an old hand at hurricanes. Sometimes people get stuck in an evacuation and nothing happened and then feel they shouldn't evacuate on the next one. But please don't do that. I went through Alesha in 83 and there had been an earlier threat and people stayed. We lost lives that didn't need to be lost. Take every storm or threat very seriously.

He also stopped us from being in the Dawson Springs area that night too when they got hit! We have listened to him since!
The thing I like about Ryan, in addition to his clear explanations, is that I have no doubt that he cares about the people that will be affected by these storms.

I had to flee Tyndall AFB in 2018 during Hurricane Michael. The damage was horrendous. They are still rebuilding. It has been almost 6 years to the day 😢
October 7th… Day before our anniversary… we headed to Talladega Alabama to get away. I was stationed over in P.C.B. You are correct they are still not done rebuilding, but then again I didn’t think they ever will do to all the investors that swooped in and bought everything up like DR Horton
Yeah, I remember seeing damage from Opal for years also. To me, it seemed like that was the catalyst for entire strip losing its character 😢 So many families sold their properties and moved rather than try to rebuild

Well since Jim Cantore is in Panama City Beach, FL today I know the Bay County area is preparing for the risk of this being like Hurricane Matthew in 2016 while praying it isn't that bad. I no longer live there, though family still does... but when Jim shows up everyone takes it seriously.
Helene is gonna be _HELL_ on Earth. I have a very bad feeling about this. Landfalling female named hurricane in September with 88 degree SSTs and favorable shear conditions is nuts.
Especially since there hasn't been much activity messing up the flow of the gulf.
And landfalling in a horrible location
Thanks Ryan from the Cumberland platue TN.
We always appreciate your updates. Thanks for keeping us posted!
Praying for all in Florida. Please prepare now and leave if you can. 🙏💗🙏💗🙏
Thank you I'm in FL, i have family in texas and OKC. I'm pretty well prepared for anything. We have been all hurricane season.
Praying for everyone in the path!
😮 goodness its huge! All the way to Great Lakes aftermath!
Thanks...❤
Right up and over us.....again. Fortunately I have the foresight to prepare well in advance. All we can do is hope for the best 🫤
Planning to head down I-75 from Ohio to our place in Florida this week. Will have Ryan Hall Y’all by my side as I travel. You got us through Ian. We are grateful beyond words for your clear, knowledgeable and timely information. Thank you!
Are you a hurricane hunter?
Are you purposely trying to catch this storm? I would probably wait a bit if not. 🙃
@@liznichols4916right? No way would I drive into it
@@Roachman-TT - no.
@@liznichols4916 - not trying to catch the storm. Wanting to check on our family place and pay my respects at family burial 😌 place.
Thank you Ryan for the update!🥰
Hi Ryan & team. Glad you gave us a heads up beforehand. Thanks.
Isn't it better to be prepared?Regardless of what happens. I am in NW Georgia and am praying for you all in the direct path of this system.
Lisa ... Yes I agree with you .... From central Georgia .... We will be preparing too!!
@@SandyTowz God bless you are in my prayers 🙏
Thank you, Ryan and crew!!! I rely on you guys! God bless!!
I live in South Louisiana. 35 miles upriver from Nola! I always have Hurricane supplies stocked & have restocked again since June. Always prepared.
Thanks Ryan
God bless America and God bless Ryan Hall and his y'all team ❤
🙏🏼✝️💕everybody stay safe out there! Prayers from north ga!
Prayers for all
Thank you !!!
Once again Ryan you have predicted this storm way before it was on anyones radarand you have clearly given us who watch you faithfully a heads-up to be prepared long before this video and I want to thank you and your precious Y'ALL SQUAD TEAM for being already geared up and ready to go in an instant to keep as many people safe as possible and animals too🙏🏻🙏🏻 Ryan Hall Y'all Squad is such a BLESSING and Y'ALL ARE THE ONLY CHANNEL THAT I WATCH TO GET MY WEATHER BECAUSE Y'ALL ARE FAR MORE ACCURATE THAN THE WEATHER CHANNEL AND THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COMBINED. On one super bad storm outbreak with multiple tornadoes, Andy called one tornado a full 10 minutes before the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EVEN ISSUED A WARNING AND THAT 10 MINUTES OF A TORNADO ON THE GROUND, WHO KNOWS HOW MANY LIVES Y'ALL SAVED. ANDY AND YOU TOGETHER CALLED A 2ND TORNADO THAT BOTH THE WEATHER CHANNEL AND NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BOTH MISSED AND NEVER CALLED IT WHILE THE Y'ALL SQUAD HAD EYES OF THE TORNADO ON THE GROUND. I was already sold on The Ryan Hall Y'all Squad Team and a member but I kept watching y'all for the whole 12 hours y'all were on UA-cam. When you go live, I know that it's going to get wild and I always pray for those who are in the paths of whatever storms are coming 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank You Ryan for your update. Here in Orange Park FL✝️
In Central Ohio we have had a 3 month long drought and everything is a tinder box so the rain will be welcome, but not hurricanes of course! It's been my experience that the year after a drought is when we lose a lot of trees.
I always watch your posts. God bless you!
Understand how you feel. Woke up (southern Illinois) to rain this am and darn near cried. Really hope we both get a good soaker out of this.
Southern Ohio too! Looks like we’re about to get some now! Yay!
I live in SE Ohio bordering WV and it's been HOT here. My mom's pond is down 6 feet.
We have been bone dry in VA too. Today is a heavily misty day, not a lot of rain, but I feel like the grass grew 1" since this morning.
Any rain that lasts longer than 5 minutes would be much appreciated.
Thank you, sir! Things are gonna get wet and wild this week for sure!
Praying for all in its path.
Watching from the Orlando area and this was the most clear presentation of this storm I have seen so thank you!!
Grateful for good and thorough info without panic in graphics and words! Thank you from SE USA!
It doesn't matter how many times Ryan says "this could be bad" because we can't predict weather, at least not SUPER well outside of the next 2 days. PLEASE, Be careful in the Carribean, and where the closest potential hurricane is going!!! Don't be scared, be prepared!!
I agree
We can predict things just fine. In fact, we do a really good job with it. What we cant do however is determine anything with any sort of certainty
Amen
44 miles from where it should hit I won't be nothing God I love being floridian
It's to inform people in the area to stay informed...not a detailed forecast!😂
Hey Ryan, It is 2:10 pm. Monday afternoon 9/23/24, and I just got thru watching your broadcast on the storm approaching the Florida coastline. I currently live in the pan handle of Florida just east of Pensacola. Since I have been following you I have put more faith & trust in you than our regular TV weather station. I just want to reach out with a big Thank You for sharing your weather knowledge with us which in most cases has been very accurate. I will continue to follow your advice and concerns as you bring them to us. So Thanks again and please keep up the great work. Thank You Ryan.
Like all storms - LET’S PRAY!!!
Amen!!!
Preparing seems to make more sense than praying, but you do you!
@@CountJeffula Alittle of both wouldn't hurt 🙂🕊️🙏
@@CountJeffulaCFS....if praying worked, there would not be school shootings but iyiyk
Sure, that always works.
Ah, recommended 5 days later. Thank you youtube.
Don’t be scared be prepared. This is going to be a major monster hurricane for Florida. God be with you all.
Thank you, Ryan. I was hoping you would cover this. Hope you have a safe and happy week.
