Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a 2022 action game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise and developed by IllFonic. It is set to release for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game also features the likenesses and voices of Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore and Dan Aykroyd as Raymond "Ray" Stantz.
The game features up to four players and allows players to take the role of a Ghostbuster or a ghost. Players can create their own Ghostbuster, and the ghost's appearance can also be customized by visiting Ray’s Occult Books. The Ghostbusters' gameplay is based on the first-person shooter design, while the ghosts are controlled from a third-person perspective. The ghost needs to terrorize everyone in a location by making loud noises or possessing objects, while the Ghostbusters need to capture the ghost, undo its damages and get the crowd to calm down.[4] While the game features asymmetrical gameplay, players can also choose to fight against an AI-controlled ghost cooperatively
