Hi Aodan, I have been working over the last weeks on the Foxhunters reel and, just as I've got it nailed, you post this. Brilliant stuff!
However, I must add that I'm not a guitarist but a fiddle players andI think Fiachra Hayes is absolutely the greatest thing sinced sliced bread.
Keep the fiddle reels coming and encourage Fiachra to put stuff out there more often.
    Thanks a million, guys.

Thanks Michael, I'll pass on the comment to Fiachra 👍 He's away traveling for a month or two, but I'll get him in again to record when he's home 🎶

What a find. I am using your tutorials and they are fantastic. The best I've found on the internet so far, because not only do you explain everything clearly, but also the chords and sequences appear superimposed, making everything easier. And also all with great sympathy. Really thank you very much. Your father also gives it a very good touch with his Whistle.

Hi Matojo, sorry about the late reply, I've been on tour around the U.S. and just catching up on things. I'm very glad to hear that you're finding the tutorials helpful. That's for the kind comment! If there's anything in particular that you'd like me to cover on the channel just let me know. I'm happy to help! 👍🎸

@@aodancoynemusic Well, since you mention it, a cover of "The Golden Castle" Hornpipe in DADGAD would be spectacular. 😁😁😅

    Heyo Aodan aríst.
I had been looking for a couple of days for lessons on the guitar on rolls and cuts.
    I found none so far.
    It’s mostly flute and fiddle.
Perhaps you would know of one or two that explains those ornamentations on the axe?

    Have a sunny Sunday! 😉

Hi, rolls and cuts are usually performed on guitar by playing hammer-ons, pull-offs and triplets. Your best bet is to start looking up tenor banjo ornamentation videos. The Online academy of Irish Music have a lot of tenor banjo tutorials that you may find helpful. I'll leave the link to their playlist below. That should link in nicely with the left and right hand techniques for playing tunes on guitar. I do find playing tunes a lot of fun, but I don't specialise in playing the melody of Irish tunes. But if you're stuck let me know and I can try put a few videos together 👍 I hope this helps ua-cam.com/video/Y_e6atT9Pa4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=OnlineAcademyofIrishMusic

Hi Aodan, how do you get your bottom E string to double as a bass?

Hi Joe, I put a video together explaining my whole setup for getting that bass sound out of the low strings. Here's the video link - ua-cam.com/video/1NZ5QYoeOcU/v-deo.html I hope you find it helpful. If you have any other questions just let me know 👍
