Aodan. I wanted to tell how much my playing has improved since I have taken your course. I wish I had had this available so many years ago when I was starting out with DADGAD. Your course has been invaluable! Thank you!

Fabulous lessons, many thanks. What picks do you like to use and, more importantly, what's the thickness? thanks again

Hello Baden, I usually use a Dunlop Tortex 60mm plectrum. It's firm enough to get a decent picking tone and nice to strum with. When I'm recording I tend to go a lot heavier to get a better tone. I was lucky enough to find a BlueChip TP48 on the ground at a bluegrass festival and that's the pic I use for recording. I'm not sure I would have spent the $35 for it! But it was a lucky find and a great plectrum that doesn't ware down. Other than that, if I really don't want to break a string and I'm just playing a session for fun, I'd use a standard Jim Dunlop .73 or .60. Hope that helps. Cheers.
