What a fine young man and outstanding tennis player; it's impossible not to admire his level head and total lack of pretension. I look forward to enjoying him and his tennis game for a long time.
This guy is simply unfazed by his success. He doesn't go after the lights, the attention, he has no narcissistic tendencies, and on top of that he is ambitious and smart and only wants to improve his game, probably even more than winning big titles. That is a deadly combination, I wouldn't wanna be his opponents, because he is only getting better from here, he is basically a monk dedicated to tennis, and to beat him is gonna take the same kind of dedication
Just realized I was smiling the whole 4:55 minutes😊Jannik is truly special on and off the court, such incredible maturity and humility! Always love his interviews with Prakash.
You could easily forget English is not his first language (apart from the accent ofc). One of the best on court and conducts himself with grace and humility off it. Humble and very determined but also endearing and well-spoken. Top class athlete and clearly very intelligent man too. F*ck me I am jealous
Thank you Jannick for making things sound as simple as they should sound. At the end of the day it’s that simple, work hard, believe in yourself and your work, surround yourself with good people, stay humble and good things will come … I wish you the most beautiful life Jannick. I am also older but I learn so much from you every day I watch you and every time I hear you.
I like that Sinner is more vocal now…I know that comes with winning but I feel as though I’m getting to know him better as a player/person! It’s great to see his personality. Forza Sinner!!!
So happy for this great talent👏 finally we have a sportsman with zero EGO, keeping his calmness even in the most joyful moment , already shows his great personality , well done Jannik 👏
I was hoping for at least a competitive match. Dimitrov played really this week, but wow. Sinner is rising amazingly well. Congratulations. We are all curious how you do on clay now.
Sinner has shown such an understanding of his limitless ceiling since he was young. I kind of feel like you have to put him as the favorite at a lot of clay tournaments, his shots are so deep.
@@seankeegan8285 he plays a pretty flat game, so i could imagine people challenging him on clay with heavy topspin. also, he cannot change direction so fast because you slide on clay and he doesnt have a very good dropshot. still, he will be a strong contender at every tournament.
What a good interview! Kudos to the interviewer as well! The way he placed the questions was very nice! And of course Jannik was like Jannik. He is got a nice clarity in his head that I like. Very step by step kind of person! An inspiration for people of all ages just for how much he focuses on the process! And of course, as the interviewer said, even a better person! Thank you, Jannik, as usual, congratulations for achieving this and all the best for the clay season! Can’t wait to see him play on clay. I love watching clay court matches and I hope to see Jannik dial it up on clay!
Such humility and maturity are rare in someone so young. It's nice to see that these young players like Sinner and Alcaraz focus more on being a good person than being a good player
Nice compliment (at the end) by the TV journalist (hard to believe is even better as a person than he is playing tennis), I feel the same (sure, it's just a feeling, I don't know him, but that's what it is).
Happy he won Griors comments about being happy just to get a win off the big 4 rubbed me the wrong way. The big 4 were great yes but the players didn’t have the mentality needed to beat them and win grand slams. The generation of being happy to be fifth. Glad what Sinner and Carlos are doing it’s about time someone stepped up 👏👏
Intanto adesso godiamoci un italiano numero 2 in the world !
He lost to novak in 2 consecutive SW19 quarter. And when he lost to in 3 straight sets he said i felt better and closer to Novak beating him than when i lost to him in 5 sets. that's called wisdom. He looks prepared for big things.
Jannick is writing the history of Italian tennis in the world.... Perhaps the only ones who can still make him suffer seriously and beat him are Alcaraz and Zverev with whom he has lost 4 times out of 5. We'll see in the next clay court tournaments. In the meantime, let's now enjoy an Italian number 2 in the world !
I don't understand how Dimitrov could destroy Alcaraz, the same person who defeated Sinner a few days ago in Indian Wells, but wasn't able to win against Jannik? Why is this so strange?
@@cmahima Alot of tennis is about who plays better on the day of the match, not who is the better player overall. I mean a 19 year Sinner beat Zverev in 2020 French Open but has lost to him in every match they've played ever since
I wouldn't really put alcaraz as someone who can "make him suffer seriously) because their rivalry is levelled at 4-4. And Alcaraz beat him in Indian Wells last year too but lost in Miami and (quiet handily infact 76 61) in Beijing. Yes Alcaraz is a better player between in the two but they are each other's toughest opponents (maybe the second toughest for alcaraz after Djokivic)
Tennis is not A beats B; B beats C then A beats C. It's all about matchups and how well strengths and weaknesses of each player interact with the other.
This is a GREAT, GREAT guy! I'm a huge Alcaraz fan and will continue to be, but I can't find a single thing I don't like about Sinner either. The most beautiful words that could be said about the magnificent (as a tennis player and as a great person) JANNIK SINNER! ❤
His mind is clear
Me too. I'm nearly 50 and I’m learning from Jan everyday. Hard to believe he is only 22!
@@nandanaboseSinner and Alcaraz have been my role models in life for a while now and not regretting it

Great to see such a young player, who’s also known for being such a great guy off the court, find his success.
