Bormals' Caverns & Chasms is definitely one of my favorite cave mods. I'm glad it's finally getting a Mod Showcase video, especially one with *this* much effort put into it. It's a nice refresher from other mod review channels that simply go over the features and nothing more. Keep up the great work!
Yeah i was getting tired of those innacurate ai generated voice videos and thought to go back to the 1.16.5 style where i felt like they had a bit more charm

I really like the idea of the lost goat, more legendary ubran myth-type stuff sounds like it would be really neat. Maybe like while exploring you can find a structure with a written book that tells of the legend, and then you have a chance to encounter the event randomly after that, and only by following the directions in the book can you obtain a nifty reward from it. That sounds cool I think :D
Ooo well i think this mod tried to follow mojang a bit with that there is no written text in game per say but i agree i think there should be more myth related stuff :DD

There is a lot for 1.20.1, which is what I’m currently using, but a lot are also for the previous version only, and that makes me think on which one I should pick Because sure, there isn’t a big difference in content, but man, I really like cherry blossom trees :c
Caverns and Chasms is just being ported to 1.20.1 so you might see a version very soon! With our mod Windswept it'll take longer because we're currently working on and update that'll basically double the content added by the mod so we'll update it after that.
Thematically speaking, being able to find silver in the nether is just... _wrong._ Silver is heavily associated with purity; it doesn't make sense to have it generate in Hell.

@@demolition3612 The nether is canonically an entirely separate dimension from the overworld, not very deep underground. Which I think is dumb, but I can't exactly change the canon of the game's pseudo-lore on a whim.
Peeper only moves when you move, and has regular sized explosions Deeper moves on its own like a creeper, but has a much bigger and more dangerous explosion
@@TeamGalena In the video, you said that using kunais turned you into a rail gun (paraphrased, can't recall exact wording). But uh.. they're well-known for being slow but _incredibly_ strong; the exact opposite of kunais in this mod, really.
Well it's connected to lava through yk its nether connection and like we all know temperatures and melting points work weirdly in minecraft(iron bucket can hold lava but will get destroyed by lava)
They are planning to port! Tho they said it will probably take some time so there is a possibility of them just waiting for 1.21 and switching directly to it
