Thanks. Love a good colored up trout. Shooting high quality has never been easier thanks to everything these days. Phones can out shoot older cameras. It’s crazy.
Is That the same Bear Creek where those pure Greenback Cutthroats were discovered a few years back? That some inn keeper transplanted them there 100+ yrs ago?
TheRustyTrout You’re right I looked it up, it is near Co Springs. Pure greenbacks were thought to be extinct until that population’a DNA was compared to samples in the Smithsonian museum in 2012. That Bear Creek was originally barren of any fish prior to an inn keeper dumping in a bunch of greenbacks to provide his guests with nearby creek fishing. Anyway I enjoy all your videos, I would like to see you guys try for some native cutts on smaller high elevation and/ or remote creeks.
Thanks for the info. Ive never seen a greenback in person, so need to check that off someday. We have a couple of backpacking trips in the works up some higher elevation lakes and small streams for later this summer.
Great way to start off the week. Love those small streams and the challenges they give. Thanks for sharing a fun video.
No problem. I hear ya. It's always fun using different approaches and throwing different casts to try to get the fly into tight spots

@@TheRustedTrout Thanks man. Gotta love seeing the little browns drown that Chubby up there!
Great little tour and good call warning people of spending their day living in the tree branches 🤣
Lol. Right. Fish spits the hook and boom stuck in the tree.

I think that was the bear creek in near the Springs but I would have to look up the history.
